Cape May Bike & Beer Ride

Weekend get away in Cape May for a 30 mile bike ride. House was close to the brewery and the start/finish line making it easy to ride to & from the brewery. Explored Cape May. Charming and quaint with a lot of history. Location of the house was perfect. 15 minute drive or bike ride to where we wanted to go.

I was born as an Italian American in 1954. I feel fortunate to have such a loving family and have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 40 plus years. We have two adult children and have been blessed with 4 grandsons. I'm a recently retired Social Worker and plan to do all the things you don't take the time to do while you are working. I enjoy cooking, gardening, long conversations with guest and spending time with family and friends. I can live without so much social media devices, remembering passwords, reality TV, racism and religious extremism. My Life motto " Be the kindest person I can be".

Why they chose this property

My husband and I purchased this property shortly after we moved to the shore area to start a new business venture. We loved that the home was secluded in a beautifully wooded neighborhood, where our kids grew up able to play outside safely. We eventually renovated our home adding tiger hardwood floors, a new kitchen and a wrap around deck. We expected to retire in this home. When the house next door went up for sale we decided to purchase and move to the larger home to accommodate our growing family and keep Butternut Charm as our short term rental.

What makes this property unique

Easy access with everything on one floor. This 1700 square foot home has all the conveniences plus the little extras like a keurug coffee maker with complimentary k- cups. Fresh bed linens, towels and basic needs like hand soap, body wash, shampoo are provided to make planning easier with not having to pack all the extras. We recently added a game room which showcases sports fans memorabilia and a 4 in 1 game table for the kids and adults to enjoy.
