It is well placed on the Avon Valley path, a 34 mile walk from the Cathedral city of Salisbury, to Christchurch Priory on the south coast. Ringwood has long been associated with beer making and Ringwood Brewery, just a mile away offers brewery tours. For an action packed holiday then Ringwood has plenty to offer. At Moors Valley Country Park you can take a Segway Forest Safari or zip wire through the trees. At Blashford Lakes, just a short drive away, the Ellingham Water ski club organises water skiing, wake boarding and even a ride on an inflatable banana. At New Forest Activities in Beaulieu you can enjoy Archery, hire a kayak, enjoy raft building or take a bushcraft course, and throughout the New Forest horse riding and bike hire can be organised.
