House owner is not ownest!
I would not recommend this house as it's very noisy, air conditioning only upstairs so if you open the windows Mosquitos come in as the windows don't have Mosquito net!
Internet connection is really rubbish, not fast and 1GB not enough.
We found lizards and cockroaches in the house also!
Also which is very important be careful owner will not give the deposit back! I would recommend to insist on him coming in the last day so you can go to the house together so he can't make up things after you left and you will lose your deposit!
Don't criticise the property as the owner takes it to persona!
We are really sorry of this review, because in our opinion there is a lot of unfair infos, verifiable checking the reviews of other guests. The house is quiet, at night the only sounds you can hear are those of the countryside. And typical of the countryside are lizards, cockroaches and other bugs (but not that much!) but they are not IN the house: if you leave an open door may be one of them can try to come in. In summer mosquitos are regulars in all Veneto region: the house is equipped with moquito burners and all windows have nets, except of doors and the window at the groundfloor (cause it's too large to have one). We provide the house with the best Internet connection available, and recently the 1Gb-per-day-cap have been removed by the provider, so now it's unlimited and free.
Till now we have never asked Homeway to keep the deposit, but we had to, cause these guests damaged the equipment inside the house without any report to us, and tried to save money by hiding that they were 6 and paid for 5. We really try to do our best to make every stay as comfortable and carefree possible, but sometimes things go wrong: this seems to be one of those times, making us feel beaten.
Nice clean accommodation, thoughtful owner, good facilities.
Very clean with all utilities and a good base for discovering all of Venezia.
Lovely vacation home
We, a family of five with young children, spent 2 weeks at Ca' Sissi. Everything is as described on HomeAway. Lovely home with everything you need at hand and a pleasant host. The kids loved the spacious garden area to play. Convenient address for visiting the Veneto region.
Thank you so much! See you soon to Veneto!

Ca’ Sissi is located at Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco, a small rural village, nothing special, but centered in Veneto Region, so you will realize that it will be quick and easy to reach every city and touristic places by car.
Actually, Venice is just 40 km away by car.
Padua is at 15 km away (20-minute drive)
The Brenta Riverside and the magic of its villas are at 10 km, also the monumental villas of Palladio in Vicenza are not far: just 50 km.
So is the elegant city of Treviso, just 60 km away, and the town of Romeo and Juliet, Verona, is 100 km from here.
We bet you feel like going to the beach: no worries, Sottomarina is only 30 km away (40 minutes by car or bus) and from there you can’t miss to visit Chioggia, the famous historical town that resembles Venice and was celebrated in the funny comedies by Carlo Goldoni.
Are you Spa lovers? You’ll have a wide range of swimming pools where to go and relax: Abano, Montegrotto and Battaglia Terme are all 30 minute-drive away (25 km).
Or are you food and wine lovers? Or just looking for a nice walk in the woods and some fresh cool air? The Euganean Hills can offer you all that at only 40-minute drive (30 km) and from those volcanic hills you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view over Padua. We suggest to sip some Spritz, a typical venetian drink, at sunset!
Or are you bike lovers? Veneto (our region) and Padua are extremely rich in bike tracks and paths, an original way to better discover our territory that stretches form cities of art to hills, from the lagoon to the medieval castles, from villas to rural villags
Ca’ Sissi will be your perfect starting point for all your itineraries to discover our wonderful and so famous region!
The rural and residential area is within a close distance to all the facilities you need and you can easily reach them by car, bike or on foot.
The town centre is 2 kilometers far from our house, it has groceries, shops, chemist’s, supermarket.
Or, going towards Padua, in 3 kilometers you will find the well-equipped village Legnaro, with its shops and the Conad supermarket (opened daily).
The closest shopping centre is at less than 5 km (in the town of Piove di Sacco).
To enjoy at best the surroundings, the car is recommended. However, the house is still served by public transport (average frequency 1 bus every 15 minutes) on the Chioggia-Padua route. The bus stop is 500 meters from the house (note: the road to get to the stop has no sidewalk.)
