Relax with a cool beverage while thinking about what you plan to BBQ. It is a perfect location close to the pool for a bit a fun in the sun. The condo complex features 2 heated swimming pool areas, each with a covered cabana, hot tub, and BBQ grills. A third, 25-yard salt water pool is located nearby.
The Waikoloa Village GOLF COURSE, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the driving range, putting green and clubhouse are located only a 5 minute walk away, with discounts available for those staying in the condo. The community pool, two tennis courts, and a marvelous bookmobile are adjacent, along with a casual bar and grill. Six other world-class golf courses are all within a 30 minute drive.
Waikoloa Village is perfect for year round enjoyment: temperatures of 75-85 year-round, afternoon breezes, little rain and very few insects. It is also a great home base for exploring other parts of the island. Take the car to beautiful beaches, like Hapuna Beach or “69”, just 10-15 minutes away for great snorkeling, turtle-watching, and beach time, or stroll into one of the beach resorts for a sunset cocktail.
Waimea, offering fine eateries, shopping and the historic Parker Ranch, is only 25 minutes away. Kona is 35 minutes away in the other direction, just past the airport, with all the hustle and bustle of a tourist destination. (Don’t forget COSTCO if you’re going into Kona.)
The Highlands Shopping Center in Waikoloa –a quick drive or 10 minute walk from the condo-- contains a bustling and friendly supermarket for all your food, liquor, bakery, deli and pharmacy needs. The center also has a terrific restaurant (open late), various other eateries, bank, gas station, video and snorkel rental store, and more.
The Property Manager is located just minutes away for any assistance that is needed.

I loved the little condo,it was just what I wanted.Super close to the pool and BBQ.Nicely decorated Hawaiian style and very clean.I felt safe and slept very well in the comfy king size bed.Thanks I will see you again next year for my monthly visit.Can't wait to come back!
This was truly an amazing place to stay for the week. As young travelers on a budget, we were looking for an affordable option with quality amenities, a place to make our home for the week, somewhere with nice weather, and somewhere convenient for our travels around the island (e.g. day trips to Hilo and Waipoi Valley). Val's condo turned out to be exactly that. Unlike our previous experience in Maui, we didn't notice a single thing wrong or broken with this place. In fact, there were a handful of nice, little surprises. For example, the bathroom had complimentary shampoo & conditioner, and a nicely pressurized shower. The closet had left-behind bottles of sunblock & other bottles of shampoo & conditioner (which we sadly didn't notice until the last day), the kitchen had storage containers to keep our leftovers and to take with us on our day trips, and there was even an older edition of the Big Island Revealed travel guide (a book we highly recommend). Plus, you could watch the sunset over the ocean from the lanai, or from the hot tub just 50 feet away! And while the place is not right on the ocean, it's only 10-15 minutes from our favorite beaches like 'A' Bay, Waialea Bay, and Hapuna Beach. Oh, and Val runs a snorkel shop right down the road, with very competitive prices for the area, and possibly a good deal. Just ask her about it... :)
If all the little things don't matter to you, this really was simply a great deal. Even if you find something similarly priced, you should know that this condo was all-around very nice. Thanks again, Val!
