We are pleased to introduce our contemporary holiday accommodation situated on the ground floor within the prestigious Studland Dene Complex, a stones throw away from Alum Chine Beach. Our two modern, apartments, are well equipped providing you with everything you need for your Bournemouth holiday.

A stones throw from Alum Chine beach and a short walk into Bournemouth town center, these apartments are the perfect base for your Bournemouth holiday. The complex boasts a seafront position and is a short walk to the beach.

We have two beautifully appointed self-catering apartments, both of which are self contained and accessed via a secure hallway.

The double studio apartment comfortably sleeps 2 and is open plan with patio doors leading off from the bedroom to the terrace. privacy doors can be closed to afford privacy in the bedroom. The shower (wet room) has doors leading off from the bedroom and lounge area. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you need for a self-catered holiday, the breakfast bar seats two on high stools.

The family apartment sleeps 6. This open plan apartment has a spacious lounge and kitchen area leading to the open plan master bedroom area with patio doors leading onto the spacious terrace, privacy doors can be close to afford privacy in the bedroom. Off the lounge a further two bedrooms (one double and one twin can be found in addition to the shower (wet) room. The second double room also leads onto the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with everything required for a self-catered holiday. The breakfast area has two high stools and a small folding dining table and four chairs provides additional dining space.

Both apartments have their own well equipped kitchens with integrated appliances and each has one shower (wet) room as well as comfortable lounge areas where guests benefit from flat screen TV with sky TV, DVD player, i-pod dock, chromecast streaming device and free wifi. The apartments are fully accessible, situated on the ground floor and boast a spacious, furnished sun terrace, with partial sea views- the perfect location for alfresco dining by the sea.


Both apartments share a large terrace. Each apartment has its own patio furniture and sun parasol.


Our Family Apartment has allocated parking (one space) in the onsite secure parking garage. The studio does not have allocated parking.

Other parking is available either on the street or in the large Alum Chine car park situated by the beach (a short walk away).

Alum Chine is our favourite of all the beautiful Bournemouth Beaches, we love the area which is easily accessible for all Bournemouth has to offer, also providing easy access to Westbourne, another favourite for restaurants and it's individual shops. We fell in love with the apartments which were built on the site of the original Studland Dene Hotel. We have a large family and the apartments provide the perfect place to get together and enjoy the beautiful Dorset coastline for holidays and short breaks.

What makes this apartment unique

Studland Dene is close to Alum Chine Beach which has a large childrens play area where you can catch a land train to take you along the seafront to Bournemouth. The building has an onsite Concierge who will ensure you are checked in and be on hand should you need any information about the area or the apartment.

Nice apartment

The apartment was nice. The lounge was quite small with one of the bedrooms at the other end. But was ample for our needs. Liked everything about it.

Lovely location just a few minutes walk to the beach

Property was much darker and smaller than I had expected and not as luxurious. However it was very secure, had a lovely balcony and is in an excellent location. It was great to have allocated parking under the building. It's a shame that the wet room has no natural ventilation as it was difficult to air and the apartment smelt a bit because of this. Also we could have done with a floor mat as it got very slippery until the steam had escaped. I would also like to have been able to sit inside and look out at the view which is not possible because of the layout which means the bed in the lounge area is in front of the patio doors.

Holiday get away.

Booked for 5 people, as we had a wedding in Bournemouth and a couple of days for chilling.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equiped. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and easy access along the promenade to Bournemouth pier & Town Centre - with the luxury of the land train coming back & terminating at the bottom of the hill. Lovely to sit on the patio first thing in the morning in the september sun, listening to the sea & birds. Very quiet in relation to passing traffic. Consierge were very helpful with regards to the area. Underground parking a plus.

Would have liked instructions for some of the kitchen appliances.

Thank you for a wonderful stay& would have no hesitation in recommendations.

Very nice property in an ideal location!

Ideal for getting onto the beach and only a short walk into town. Close to local pub & restaurant if just wanting a short walk. Very nice property with everything we needed and more. Lovely balcony. Will be sure to rebook next year!

Very reasonable, though extremely poor service from the concierge

The biggest problem was the concierge, the room keys, also unlock, 18a and we were in 18b, when e spoke to the concierge, he said that he could not do anything about it as it was Technical. He did not show us to our apartment, he did not show us how to get from the apartment to the parking, therefore, due to there being no signage at all, I found myself going into an area, that was later locked and screwed shut, because I fell in the darkness. The Concierge, did not apologise for this, just said "well, the lights were working before.

This coupled with the key issue, upset the whole visit.

Later after my brother had contacted the owners, the Concierge, magically, programmed the keys, the fact that they still opened 18a, was still of some concern.

The other Concierge that we met on the day of leaving,was if a totally different character, by miles,was much better.

Great property, great location

Rented this property as it was my daughter graduation, the property was as expected clean and welcoming. It was located a couple of minutes walk from the beach and ideal to stroll into Bournemouth. Being the beginning of November it was quite cold and with the flat only having underfloor heating this took approximately 24hrs to heat the apartment up, it would have been nice to have had it turned on prior to arrival. I would recommend this apartment and the communication with the owner Dawn has been excellent.

Bournemouth Oceanarium is a must see attraction. The PierZip is the world’s FIRST pier to shore zip wire experience in the world located at the very end of the Bournemouth Pier and a great activity for those seeking adventure.
