This is a very high quality air conditioned ground floor maisonette in the first rate Villamartin complex. It has a walled garden and a terrace facing East, and so is ideal for breakfast in the morning sun. Both bedrooms have twin beds and built in wardrobes, one has an en-suite shower room and the second has the family bathroom next to it. There is honey coloured marble flooring throughout the apartment. The fully fitted and equipped kitchen has white marble worktops and wooden cabinets. The living area has a dining table and 4 chairs, a 3 seater convertible settee and 2 easy chairs so you are comfortable watching English satellite TV. The generous communal swimming pools and grass lounging areas are just to the rear. Villamartin Plaza and Golf Club are five minutes walk away, the Plaza has over forty restaurants and bars, a good supermarket and some other shops including a para-pharmacy.
Golf: Villamartin is only a five minute walk from the apartment. The European Open was held here a few years ago and it is still a good challenge. The large Clubhouse terrace, which over looks a grassed lounging area and garden is open to all. There are two other courses within a ten minute drive. Las Ramblas is very steep with lots of rocky canyons to lose your balls in, and may not be suitable for everybody. Campoamor is very different, a nice lush undulating green golf course with a five star clubhouse on top of the hill, a fabulous terrace and restaurant with great views. There is a further selection of great golf courses within a half hour drive including La Finca and La Manga.
Beaches: Most of the local beaches are 'Blue Flag', which means that their cleanliness and water condition are regularly monitored and kept up to a very high standard. The nearest is at La Zenia, this is a nice mixture of things, a lovely soft sandy bay with loungers and sun shades to hire, a beach bar for cold beers and snacks, rock pools for the kids to explore, a life guard station for the girls to admire and a huge bar/restaurant overlooking all. There are quite a few other seaside areas within fifteen minutes drive ranging from small rocky coves to a marina and restaurants at Campoamor and Torrevieja.
Immediately to the North of Torrevieja Town, which has a very large marina and two beaches, is Guadamar. This is the beginning of more than ten miles of wide flat sandy beach that seems to go all the way to Alicante. If you are at Guadamar the best lunch or evening place is Casa Blanca where you will be warmly welcome and generously fed right next to the beach .
The Wright Family - Lovely apartment ideally located to Plaza. Bogey's restaurant is a must. Campoamor beach is fantastic really clean, go further down the beach near the rocks to catch crabs.
The Barley Family - Arrived Sunday night apartment was perfect. Both Yvonne and David the agents very helpful. Would always recommend the apartment to family and friends lovely area and everybody very friendly. Children had a great time.
The Yates Family - We have had a great holiday and are sorry to be going home. Apartment very nice and well equipped. .Beach to left of La Zenia is good not too crowded and kids had a great time looking for crabs in the rocks. Had a drive to Busot to visit the caves, worth the journey for the views from the mountains and cool down in the caves. Torrevieja bustling with market and fair for the children together with street artists.

Très heureux de notre séjour dans cette appartement fonctionnel avec deux piscines très propres à proximité. Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivé, la terrasse permet de manger matin et soir sans souci. Les deux salles de bain et la clim réglable offrent un confort non négligeable l'été. La cuisine qui donne sur le salon est très pratique mais il nous a manqué un lave vaisselle, c'est dommage. A noter qu'un véhicule reste indispensable pour profiter des belles plages situées à 5 KMS mais pour un bon resto il faut 5 minutes à pieds. Pour finir je dirai que nous avons passé de belles vacances dans cet endroit ensoleillé et je recommande cette location de qualité.
We arrived at the appartment around 8-30pm,after a 20 mins drive from Murcia airport lovely and warm, the heating had been left on for us, we were pleasently supprised just how cozy it was, there was everything provided that you need even toys and games for the kids,plus things you need for the beach.We had some friends also there at the same time in a big three bedroomed villa, but they say it was very cold could not heat it up at all. so really the bigger you go the more it is to heat up best of going for an appartment. There is plenty to do round and about , villa martin plaza just a walk away, but a car is advisable, to get around, all in all we had a fab time and we will be going again at some time.Recommended place,s to go are the markets, at diffrent locations every day, site seeing ....Torivejca Guardamar La manga through san miguel orange groves. Dates stayed all the month of February.

A nice, modern apartment. NOTE that air con is only available in the living room area, NOT in bedrooms. It can be rather noisy especially when you have kids sleeping as it is very near other apartments and swimming pool.
Pool was nice, a bit small, but kids pool is lovely and clean.
The apartment also stocked other beach essentials like a mat and swim float so that was nice. And note that this is ANTS paradise, i do not think it is just in this apartment, they are in most apartments, can be a bit annoying.
The initial listing stated that nearest beach was 1.5km n we tried 2 walk it with 1 small child-after 1 hr of walk,we were still not there and actually had to hitch a ride.The wrong information was a big disappointment,we had no choice but to hire a car-an expense we did not expect at all. I would NOT have rented this apartment had I known it is so far from the beach! This was very disappointing that the information given was wrong!
Owner also wasn't sure if the shuttle bus was running and when we got there,no one seems to know where we can get the shuttle from and what time it runs!
The plus side of having car is we could explore other beaches-the best one being Cala Capitan beach, great alcove for kids and the other side with lots of fishes!
The area, Villamartin has loads of Brits and if you were looking for any 'local' food/restaurant and some typical Spanish village..you will not find it here.Every other restaurant is an European restaurant!
The apartment is close to the famous Villamartin Golf Course and its equally well known Villamartin Plaza, supplying all the choices of restaurants and bars required to give you a different eating experience each day. There are two pools close to the apartment. The local La Zenia beach is blue flag and within five minute drive, and there are a number of other blue flag beaches close by. There is a shuttle bus to the beaches during the season. There are two further golf courses within a ten minute drive at Las Ramblas and Campoamor. The brand new shopping complex at La Zenia is newly built and is now open. There is a children's play area at the end of the road and we believe a sports complex is being built and should be open soon. Also within ten minute walk is Los Dolses Plaza with a wide selection of shops and bars.
Other Activities: Go Karting and indoor bowling. WaterPark in Torrevieja
