Guestbook comments from the owner

Your condo is so comfortable and relaxing!! The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed my beer at Von Trapp's and dinner at Tratorria LaFesta. We are hoping to book it again next May! It was hard to return to MA. Thank you!!!

Great location, cozy condo

  • 4 of 5

This was a great place to stay during my ski trip at Stowe. Condo was clean and was a pleasure to stay in. Parking was OK, but due to the tight spaces (one neighbor has a large truck) and the amount of snow that wasn't plowed it did make parking a bit difficult. The heating system was a little loud (probably air in the piping), but i would stay here again!

Simply Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I loved this condo! Close to everything. So many great bars and restaurants are within minutes and even walking distance. The mountain is one left turn away. It was a great place and I will look for the availability of this rental first every time I plan a trip to Stowe!

Small but great location

  • 4 of 5

I typically stay with family when I visit Vermont, but decided to get my own place this time around to have some peace and quiet in between holiday festivities. The condo was smaller than I had anticipated, but it met my needs. There is a small entry area where you can store skiis and such and then you enter into a small landing where you can hang coats and kick off boots/shoes. This is an English-style basement condo, so you are below-ground, with small windows to view the ground level.

I arrived late at night and had some trouble gaining entry. If you do arrive late, let Tim know in advance so he can leave the porch light on. Thankfully, he is easy to reach by phone and talked me through the process. I had a little trouble getting the standalone tub to operate, but am sure that if I had bothered to call Tim, he would have walked me through that as well. I might suggest getting fleece or flannel sheets for the bed during the cold months as it can get quite chilly and you may also want to take a look at getting the lining of the shower fixed to prevent any further wear.

Thank you

Owner's Response: Hi, thank you for your review! Appreciate the feedback, as it always helps us ensure the best experiences for our guests! We have switched the sheets over to flannel ones, and the shower liner has been repaired. We have also placed a flashlight near the front entrance to help access the lockbox when needed.

Enjoy year-round outdoor activities in beautiful, peaceful Stowe, Vermont! Mt. Mansfield is Vermont’s highest peak (4395') and offers a wide range of terrain for every ability level. It’s well-known for the double-black diamond (most difficult) “Front Four” trails, but also offers some of the longest intermediate cruisers in the East, and a lovely group of beginner trails in the Toll House area. Spruce Peak is geared toward beginner and intermediate skiers and riders.

Although Stowe is best known for its world-class skiing and snowboarding, many visitors also enjoy all that the area has to offer in the summer and fall. Visitors have the following at their fingertips when staying in the heart of Stowe village: hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, golf, tennis, hot air balloon rides, seasonal festivals, outdoor concerts, antique shopping, the Stowe Recreation Path, fine dining, and a vibrant nightlife.
