About the property

1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, den, sleeps 2

Located in Provincetown's East End Gallery District, this tucked-away unit is the perfect getaway and just a short walk to town. Renovated in 2007, the spaces are bright and colorful. Tile floors and remote-controlled skylights and ceiling fans keep the place light, airy and cool. Off of an open sitting area, dining area and kitchen is a bedroom with queen bed and sliding doors to a small private deck, a bathroom with large walk-in shower, and a den with pullout sofa and new flat panel television with built-in DVD player. There is parking for one car (visitor parking spaces available), common coin laundry machines, and up the hillside stairs is the condo complex's brand NEW HEATED POOL. There are beautiful beaches just a bike ride or car ride away, but it's a rare luxury in Provincetown to have a pool for that morning or evening dip, or to relax by all day if you're not the beach type.

Cozy, colorful and quiet!

  • 5 of 5

We had an terrific weekend in Provincetown staying at Carlos' comfortable condo.

Very clean with all the amenities with everything you need to cook and enjoy a quiet evening when not on the busy streets of town. The gourmet market next door is amazing and has great coffee and pastry for bfast and sandwiches and other grilled specialties. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit!

Comfortable and bright apartment in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

Carlos was quick to reply to all messages. His apartment is bright and nicely finished in a convenient location. The bathroom is modern and roomy, great shower. The kitchen is convenient and had all the basic appliances and dishes we needed. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable with a small private sitting area just outside. We hope to stay here again for a longer visit in the near future. Great place!

Enjoyed my stay

  • 4 of 5

We rent this apartment for 4 nights. It's very well located, you can go everywhere by foot. You don't even need a car except to go to the beach! The apartment have a lot of furniture, and if you need something, Carlos is always available! I enjoyed my stay at Carlos place:)

Beautiful Condo, Frustrating Experience

  • 3 of 5

My 3 star rating has nothing to do with the property itself, it has to do with my experience with the owner.

The condo is beautiful! Quiet neighborhood, wonderful pool, close to a store. Far enough out of town, but not too far. Ceiling fans in every room along with the skylights kept everything nice and comfortable. The bathroom is enormous and the shower is fantastic. And the walk in closet in the bedroom, was a godsend!

I made a mistake and forgot to mark when the 2nd payment was due and remembered on the exact date it was due to him. I reached out and offered to PayPal the money, but he was kind enough to let me send it in the mail.

10 days before we were to drive up to the condo I get an email asking if he had already sent the keys! I replied no and he said he would mail them immediately. I did not receive them until 2 days before we were to leave. I replied back that I had received the keys and didn't hear back from him.

3 weeks after we got home I still had not received my security deposit. I emailed Carlos asking if there were any issues and when I should expect my deposit back.

2 1/2 weeks later, I still had not received it, I inquired again. He replied that he had a death in the family and would be sending a check.

4 days later I received a check for only half my security deposit! I emailed again asking if there was any issues and when I could expect the remainder of my deposit. Said he misread the contract and would be sending another check.

A week and half later, still no check. Send an email, was told it was in the mail.

4 days later received the remainder of my security deposit. Nearly 8 weeks after we left!

I understand people have lives and a death in the family can be very hard on a person.

The overall experience for us was not a good one and unfortunately we will not be renting there again.

Perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at Carlos' place the week we got married. We loved the location, a short walk to the center of town, yet private and quite. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of storage space as well as extra towels for the beach or the pool. The neighbors are friendly and inviting, which always makes a stay more pleasant. It was also great to have a store on the next corner. The front room is larger than it looks in the picture, which was perfect when our families stopped by. Carlos is so nice and was very helpful. We can't wait to stay there again!

Loved it

  • 5 of 5

I've stayed at Carlos' place several times and loved it. We were too early this year for the pool, but on previous visits I spent plenty of time with a frozen margarita pool side since I'm generally too lazy to fight the beach crowds or to hike through the dunes to get some sun. Also the pool was completely rebuilt from the ground up a few years ago and it's immaculate and **heated**!! The unit is spacious for two and was comfortable for four when my friends came down for the night. The L-shaped sofa in the front room is comfortable (not like a sofa pull out) and the sliding door closes off for quiet and privacy for overnight guests. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathroom is spacious and the shower has room for two. :-)! My go-to P-town getaway now for the past few years. Oh, and Carlos is a sweetheart and great to deal with.
