Our spacious townhome is located at the charming Chateau de Montagne complex at 3251 Chateau Road. The entire unit is remodeld to offer a rustic theme with attractive furnishings and all the conveniences you'd expect in your vacation home. Our two story townhome has three bedrooms and two and one half baths. Downstairs houses the MASTER BEDROOM with both a DOUBLE and TWIN BED. The second downstairs bedroom is IDEAL FOR CHILDREN with a TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED, single TWIN and even a ROLL-AWAY COT. The third bedroom is upstairs and can SLEEP AN ENTIRE FAMILY with it's QUEEN BED and TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED.
After an exhilarating day on the slopes or a long hike, meet up with family and friends and soak in the warmth of the property's shared hot tub, steam sauna and summer pool area directly adjacent to our unit. Wanting some nightlife? Our unit is within walking distance to shops and restaurants so you and your family can enjoy all that Mammoth Lakes has to offer within minutes. Our unit is a 10 minute walk to grocery stores, movie theatres , private massage, yoga and even bowling. Snowcreek Athletic Club is nearby with a full raquet ball gym, weights and more yoga; day rates available.
Our driveway is STOP #17 on the RED-LINE BUS ROUTE TO THE MAIN LODGE(winter only). A free ride to the base of the mountains main ski area every 15 minutes. If you don't want the hassle of a shuttle bus you can drive one mile to Eagle Lodge and Eagle Express' 6-Pack chair. The Village is only 1 1/2 miles by Free Shuttle or drive.
Avid skiers from Upstate New York. 'Sierra Powder is so much better than Adirondack Concrete'.

Very nice condo, as others have noted, unusually clean and well-stocked for a rental. We put one family downstairs with 2 BR and 1.5 baths, and another upstairs with 1 BR (double+bunkbeds)and 1 bath, so plenty of space for everyone. NICE FEATURE: the master bedroom downstairs has a back patio that is only steps away from the swimming pool. Great location for kids. 3 blocks from grocery store, many restaurants. Would stay here again. Only missed amenity: hair dryer.
We stayed here while in town for a youth hockey tournament. The location is perfect, close to stores and the shuttle to get to the mountain. We found the townhome to be warm and cozy with everything included. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which came in very handy. The kitchen is updated with all appliances. The unit is also just across from the hot tub! I don't have one negative thing to say about this place. We will definitely look into renting again for our annual trip!
We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving 2016. I should say we had a great time. Kitchen set are modern and fully equipped (oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, fridge, pots, pans, you get the idea) with everything we need to cook.
Cozy living room area, when it gets too cold you can turn on the pellet stove to help warm up the room.
Best of all, the location. Chateau de Montagne is located close to grocery stores, restaurants, and gas station. If you are going skiing there is also several rental places available around the area. You don't really need a car to get around, there is a free shuttle that goes to the village and main lodge.
When we were checking out we had a 6" pile of snow waiting for us. Thankfully snow shovels are available in the garage.
Last but not least, thank you to the owner for being professional and responsive to our questions. We had a check in package/instruction sent to us with all the information that we need during our stay.
We had a party of five from three different families. With 3 spacious bedrooms and multiple beds in each bedroom, 2.5 baths, a very modern and well-supplied kitchen, nice dining area and living area, balcony, swimming pool (which we did not get to use), proximity to shopping (Von's supermarket etc.) and restaurants in town, a feel-at-home ambience, we were very nicely surprised by the quality of this property. We will surely come back and stay here again! Highly recommended!

This property is excellent. Very well taken care of, and upgraded. Just a couple blocks away from all shopping centers, within an hour or less to almost all desirable locations for summer or winter fun. This location is also the closest unit to the pool/spa/sauna/bbq on the grounds. Such a great family inviting location, down to even having board games for those long vacation nights. Bernice was excellent, we are guaranteed return customers, especially as such a great price. Thanks!!!
I believe this was our 6th or 7th time in this condo. We appreciated the upgrades made since our last visit, i.e. new appliances, dishes, slider, couch, tv, etc. It suits our family no matter who we bring up! Plenty of room for 3
families and the 2 yr. old LOVED watching the snowflakes fall from the large living room windows. Fantastic
location, within walking distance to The Stove, the market, the movies, etc. The owner is great to deal with.
