California's favorite ski destination, Mammoth Lakes is located in the heart of the Gold Country and High Sierra area of the state.

Our spacious townhome is located at the charming Chateau de Montagne complex on Chateau Road. The entire unit is remodeld to offer a rustic theme with attractive furnishings and all the conveniences you'd expect in your vacation home. Our two story townhome has three bedrooms and two and one half baths. Downstairs houses the MASTER BEDROOM with Both a DOUBLE and TWIN BED. The second downstairs bedroom is IDEAL FOR CHILDREN with a TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED, single TWIN and even a ROLL-AWAY COT. The third bedroom is upstairs and can SLEEP AN ENTIRE FAMILY with it's QUEEN BED and TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED.

After an exhilarating day on the slopes or a long hike, meet up with family and friends and soak in the warmth of the property's shared hot tub, steam sauna and summer pool area directly adjacent to our unit. Wanting some nightlife? Our unit is within walking distance to shops and restaurants so you and your family can enjoy all that Mammoth Lakes has to offer within minutes. Our unit is a 10 minute walk to grocery stores, movie theatres and private massage and spa establishments. Snowcreek Athletic Club is nearby with a full raquet ball gym, weights and Yoga; day rates available.

Our driveway is STOP #6 on the RED-LINE BUS ROUTE TO THE MAIN LODGE(winter only). A free ride to the base of the mountains main ski area every 15 minutes. If you don't want the hassle of a shuttle bus you can drive one mile to Eagle Lodge and Eagle Express' 6-Pack chair. The Village is only 1 1/2 miles by Free Shuttle or drive.

Very nice condo, as others have noted, unusually clean and well-stocked for a rental. We put one family downstairs with 2 BR and 1.5 baths, and another upstairs with 1 BR (double+bunkbeds)and 1 bath, so plenty of space for everyone. NICE FEATURE: the master bedroom downstairs has a back patio that is only steps away from the swimming pool. Great location for kids. 3 blocks from grocery store, many restaurants. Would stay here again. Only missed amenity: hair dryer.

This condo NEVER disappoints!

I believe this was our 6th or 7th time in this condo. We appreciated the upgrades made since our last visit, i.e. new appliances, dishes, slider, couch, tv, etc. It suits our family no matter who we bring up! Plenty of room for 3

families and the 2 yr. old LOVED watching the snowflakes fall from the large living room windows. Fantastic

location, within walking distance to The Stove, the market, the movies, etc. The owner is great to deal with.

We'll be back again for sure!

Great location and everything you need for a little get away.

My family and I had a great time. This townhouse has everything you need, was well stocked and the layout was perfect and comfortable.

The only thing I would suggest would be to have a fan in the upstairs bedroom or add window screens as it gets very stuffy and warm during summer months. The windows could be left open for ventilation but than you have to deal with mosquitos. The rental is definitely maintained and clean but perhaps make sure the cleaning person vacuums floors and dusts off pet hair from the couch. It wasn't a huge problem but would have been much more comfortable for me to let my baby crawl around. Other than those 2 things the location and everything else was very nice.

Owner's Response: I'm glad you found the condo comfortable and convenient. We certainly do work on it constantly. In fact, the screens are right now being repaired. You must have thought it funny that ALL of them were missing simultaneously. As for the hair, you are the first one ever that I allowed to bring your dog since you had assured me it was small and well behaved. Most people don't even bother asking. Good news is that I scheduled my simi-annual full condo carpet cleaning for the Monday you departed. I hope Flores did not disturb you while he was coming in behind you to promptly scrub the floors and steam the upholstery. The condo will be spotless and breezy for your next visit. Thanks

Family/dining area large enough for all family and friends. No issue w hot water.

Warm Cozy and Relaxing

Check in was a breeze being just down the street. Our stay in condo was very relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals and snacks. The couch area in the living room was very comfy for all 5 of us. We enjoyed the pellet stove it created a nice warm glow in the evening. We will highly recommend it to our friends and would consider coming back in the future.

Charming rental in Mammoth

This is a wonderful home to rent in Mammoth! You are close to almost everything- The Stove, the bus stop, the grocery store, the park...The kitchen and dining area are open and inviting with comfortable seating and large windows for lots of natural light. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The condo is decorated with style and is very clean. This is not your standard rental. Not only is the home wonderful, but the owner is an absolute joy to work with. She was friendly, responsive, and made sure that our stay was everything we hoped for and more. This is my new favorite place in Mammoth!

Perfect Spot!

We (a group of 10) enjoyed a long weekend at Bernice's wonderful condo and will definitely be going back again. The place was spacious, clean, very close to the hot tub, and a stone's throw from the bus stop which is one of the first stops on the route (this is important because you are basically assured a seat - rather than having to stand if you were at a later stop). Highly reccommend.
