Villa Eucalyptus is a great choice to enjoy your holiday within walking distance of the beach (within 700 meters) and a traditional Majorcan village of great character and beauty.
Balearic typical construction runs a stone balustrade that embraces the terrace that surrounds the house flanked by a large palm tree and a fine specimen of Mediterranean pine. A traditional well, also in stone, stands as a decorative element in the spacious front porch.
Already in the house we received a fantastic living room on two levels with wooden beams and natural stone fireplace around which the comfortable sofas in the TV area is clustered with reading corner and access to the amazing terrace with dining outside, barbecue and sun loungers with lovely sea views.
A large semicircular arch separates the space bright and elegant room with access to the kitchen, fine wood, fully equipped with breakfast table. From the kitchen you access the incredible again covered terrace surrounding the holiday villa, with a second outdoor dining area with ceiling fan.
From the front hall you access to the four bedrooms of the property: the double bedroom window Salmon with beautiful views of the garden, the cozy Blue Twin Bedroom The Twin Bedroom Green, with elegant wrought iron headboards with floral motifs and Twin Bedroom Rosa with bright overlooking the terrace and garden. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and bright, and elegantly decorated like all other rooms of the house.
The four bedrooms of the holiday village share two full family bathrooms, also very bright, one equipped with a large shower and the other with a good sized bath.
The beaches of Sant Pere and Sant Joan, just 700 meters from the property, in the exclusive residential area of Mediterranean pine forest of Bon Air, are the most beautiful of Alcudia. They are a wonderful family-owned beaches of fine white sand and crystal clear waters of turquoise and aquamarine, next to Puerto Crocodile, and also in the vicinity of Puerto Alcudia. Sant Pere and Sant Joan is one of the best kept secrets of the north of the island.
The holiday villa is also housed at the same distance from Puerto Cocodrilo, in one of the most beautiful bays of Mallorca, where the pristine landscape and a rugged and majestic geography in which picturesque coves of sand and rock still respect one another.
Villa Eucalyptus is also just 4 kilometers from Puerto Alcudia: a small fishing harbor, which today has become a popular place for people who enjoy life at the beach. The boardwalk has won several competitions in architecture and urbanism and is the perfect place to walk with its fragrant aroma and pleasant breeze, between "llaüts" traditional fishing boats setting, and the modern marina Alcudiamar.
On the other hand, there also find the best fish restaurants, ice cream parlors and clothing stores. And facing the beach, kilometers of fine sand that draws the Bay of Alcudia with its crystal blue waters. It is the most popular beach and has all amenities: bars, boat rentals, sailing courses and a water park.
But this beach, the longest in Mallorca (10 km), is not alone. Nearby you will find nearly twenty: sand, pebble, rock, accessible only by sea songs. Among the intimate beaches include Alcanada, or the S'Illot Coll Baix. The latter is a true marvel of nature that is only accessible by boat or after a pleasant outing among pine trees and rocks.
Precisely from the Coll Baix begin some very interesting excursions for lovers of trekking and nature as it rises to Sa Talaia, old watchtower at the highest point of the town. From above we see two bays, the Serra, Alcúdia, the Pla de Mallorca and when the day is clear, the coast of Menorca.
But if there is an unmissable event for lovers of nature, is S'Albufereta and S'Albufera, two of the largest wetlands, relevant ecological value of the Balearic Islands, with significant plant and animal species.
Also very close to the holiday house is the old town of Alcudia, whose name combines the Arabic and Roman footprint. Located near the Serra de Tramuntana, Alcudia is facing away from the rural Mallorca at the foot of the waters of two bays, the north of Pollença and Alcudia this. Alcudia is located in the center of this area of contrasts, between the stone wall of the Serra and the sandy coves of the bay, between the north wind, the sea and inland.
Alcudia boasts an important historical heritage and the essence of Mediterranean life, where everything happens slowly, where everything is savored and enjoyed. Within its medieval walls (which began to be built in 1300) is Sa Plaza: the meeting place of the "alcudiencs" place of passage, the meeting point. All around are bars, restaurants and terraces to enjoy the best cuisine of the island.
In either direction from the square winding streets in several directions will lead you to beautiful monuments like the gates of Xara and Sant Sebastia, the Church of Sant Jaume, opposite which lies the city of Rome Pollentia and a little beyond the Roman theater, a 'rara avis' because instead of being built, is dug into the rock.
A row of orange marks the route of the main streets, Carrer Moll and Main Street. These streets are home to small jewelery shops, shoe stores, clothing stores, bars, restaurants, many of these establishments are housed in large houses built centuries ago, small and peaceful squares. Alcudia is one of those places worth lost in its streets to discover around every corner a new stage with charm, a new feel.
Every Tuesday and Sunday morning, the pace quickens city with the market. Farmers, traders, artisans and artists paint color the villa and bustle of the people around you feel inside and outside the medieval walls.
And only 5 kilometers from Villa Eucalyptus is the golf course Alcanada Golf Club, elected four times the best in Europe; 18 holes designed by Robert Trent and opened in 2003 is the only one located by the sea. The Rolex Top 1000 list of golf clubs includes it and scored 80 of 100 possible points.
