Ground floor apartment entirely self contained with off street parking
Apartment on occupying entire ground floor of Victorian building. Decorated in light modern colours. Fully equiped Kitchen with Dining area overlooking a private garden with patio.
This is an ideal location. There is 1 large Bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a double sofabed with extra sleeping accommodation.Free Wifi throughout.
Great transport links to central London and also great local public transport links. This also had the advantage of being close to the M3 motorway which is 10 mins from the M25 the London Orbital Motorway.
We are close to Twickenham Rugby Ground and the Rugby Theme is evident in most local Pubs. Whitton Village has every shop/restaurant a traveller is likely to need and is a lovely place to just browse and sit outside one of the local coffee shops.
It is also a great location from which to explore London as the train station is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment and trains run every 10 minutes to the centre of London. Travel time varies from 30 to 45 minutes.

The good, bad and ugly (apologies to Sergio Leone) of this small sometimes cloying 1bedroom apartmen
GOOD: great location, walking distance to Whitton, Twickenham (including rugby stadium) and Hounslow; excellent bus and train connectivity; comfortable bed, small but modern galley kitchen, serviceable bedroom; modern bathroom and kitchen fixture; small, pleasant living room; useful parking spot.
BAD: leaking overhead kitchen pipes; plaster boarded kitchen ceiling cracked and collapse imminent unless leaky pipes are repaired; sub floor masquerading as 'distressed' designer flooring poorly fastened and noisy; frig freezer and standalone freezer incumbered by frost, latter unusable; tiny, tiny bathroom tiresome after a couple of days.
UGLY: corner ceiling cob webs, bedroom shag rug poorly cleaned containing unfriendly objects, unkept, backyard albeit with potential if tended.

comfortable and cosy
The apartment was as advertised ,it was well equipped clean and cosy. The bathroom was small but adequate .It is close to all forms of transport to get to london city .However i think a little tourist information would be greatly appreciated. This aside my family and I had a great stay and would come back to this apartment again.
Unfortunately not up to par
Trains & buses nearby - easy access to London
Church street in town(5mins bus ride away) interesting high street (fine restaurants)
safe area - late evenings coming back from London
washroom quite narrow – especially shower
floors in flat unfinished – rough wood planks sticking out - we looked for nails - not suitable for barefoot walking...
kitchen counters all dirty/sticky not able to place items on them without first placing plastic on them
no soap for dish washing
no instructions left for oven - so we couldn’t use it (you cannot assume all guests are familiar with your system)
no guests/tourist info left in flat with as is typical for other apt rentals
living room w/tv - impossible to sit on sofa....(springs shot )
bedroom layout made it difficult to move around - toe stubbing
back patio garden...table and chairs folded and not clean...unfortunately we were not going to buy a rag and start cleaning chairs....
no communication from owner with guests either during or after to see how things are going/went (feedback)
Overall: Flat was over priced for services received. unfortunately, we have no choice to rate this one low sorry
So sorry you did not enjoy your stay, I would have appreciated if you could have raised any questions or concerns during your stay so that we could have resolved your issues.
The wooden floors were sanded and varnished and my family have been walking barefoot on these for lat 20 years.
I apologise for the garden furniture which was washed and prepared for Summer in mid June unfortunately this was after your stay.
The sofa springs are fine, however it is a sofa bed and we replaced the matress pad with a thicker one and this does seem to make the seat higher.
The oven works fine, I wish you had contacted me for instructions, however I will ensure that the information is available to future guests.
The shower room is small, there is no way I can extend this unfortunately.
Thank you for your feedback, it has served to highlight improvements.
Suitable for short stays
We have enjoyed our stay at this flat in the borough of Hounslow. It is well equipped and offers you free WiFi and parking. Furthermore it is close to all kind of shops and especially to tube/ National Rail stations.
Unfortunately the bathroom was even smaller tham we had expected. Moreover the entire flat could have been cleaner.
All in all we have had a nice stay and would recommend the flat.
If we go to London in the furture, we will probably stay again at this flat.
