A real home from home!
Just spent a lovely long weekend with my husband, son and dog. The barn has everything you would want and plenty more lovely touches. Very homely and central for walks, pubs and touring.
My son loved the quirky bedroom and it really felt a home from home. Would love to go back.
A very lovely Barn and welcoming hosts
We ( family of 4 and a cockapoo) have just had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely barn. The welcome pack of wine, milk and bread was greatly appreciated as were the dog treats and very comfy dog bed! We received a very warm welcome from the hosts mum who recommended places to eat and places to go. Met Chloe the host later who is also very friendly and welcoming. Our children were very excited about sleeping in the mezzanine, it was a real novelty. The barn was very cozy, comfortable and clean. Beds were so comfy. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Lots of lovely eco products and lovely extras such as games, dvd's, tea, coffee. The wood burner was a real treat in the evening. Tideswell is a very pretty village with good pubs, cafe's and shops. It is ideally placed to explore all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend.
Cosy, warm and welcoming.
What a lovely quirky barn conversion. We had a lovely few days. The barn is great and handy for village amenities. Chloe couldn't be more helpful and the welcome pack and basket of logs is a huge bonus. We may be back!

Brilliant location for exploring peaks
Chloe was a very responsive and considerate host nothing seemed too much trouble. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped including an internet TV with Netflix. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Our only slight criticism would be the downstairs bathroom heating system but we got used to putting on the wall heater and the towel rail to warm it up before having a shower. Tideswell is a great base for exploring the Peaks and is very dog friendly. Walks easily accessed from the door of the cottage and also shops and pubs. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.
Perfect place for the perfect get away
My family and I have just got back from a 4 day stay at this beautiful, quaint little cottage. We were welcomed by Chloe as we arrived and instantly made to feel very welcome. Chloe had made sure we had some home comforts for when we arrived which was a really nice touch. We had bread, milk, butter, wine and some chocolate!! I had mentioned that I had booked this break for my husbands birthday and Chloe bought him a birthday cake too!!!
The cottage is in a perfect location for what we needed as we were there with my nearly 4 year old little girl and 10 month old baby boy. It was only a short drive to Chatsworth House where we visited the farm park and also there is a great soft play nearby too. The weather wasn't very nice while we were away but it didn't stop us going out and exploring. When we were in the cottage there was plenty to do as there are games to play and there is also a dvd player with a selection of films too. My little girls loves films and takes her dvds when ever we go away so she was over the moon.
Overall we had a great time and we are looking forward to booking to stay again soon. Thank you very much to Chloe to making us feel so welcome.
