Majestic Stay in History

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed in this wonderful property during New Years 2015-16 and were amazed at the beauty and convenience of location and standard. We will definitely be returning in the future. We stayed in the snow which was amazing and can't imaging how wonderful it will be to stay during the other seasons. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in a beautiful place that is extremely affordable. The customer service and layout were perfect to accommodate your every need. Very clean and well-maintained.

Very Impressed...

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this condo for a girlfriend's weekend and we were very impressed with it. It was spacious, clean and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and then some. I would highly recommend this condo and if we come back to Traverse City next year we will be staying there again.

Wonderfully Unique

  • 5 of 5

There is not one thing the four of us didn't like about this home. Upon arrival it was spotless and everything was perfectly in place and everything needed for our stay and more was furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms and closets were spacious. Numerous electrical outlets and light switches controlling functional and mood lighting were plentiful. A huge bonus was that the condo is part of the refurbished old mental hospital that is so much a part of Traverse City's history. The ceilings in the condo were fifteen feet high, and the common corridors were that tall and at least that wide. The building amenities with it's shops and restaurants were fantastic. The shop halls were lined with all kinds of artwork and displays of original photographs showing the history of the building which was tremendously interesting. We ate at both of the Italian restaurants - PepeNero three times for dinner as it was so convenient and charming with wonderful authentic food and wine. Stella's had delicious food as well. We have stayed in numerous very nice VRBO homes and this one has been the best with all things being considered. A special thank you to the owner's for making their home available for us and so many people to enjoy.

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

This exceptional condo was the perfect place to stay. I just wish we were there longer. Absolutely everything that you needed was there and it was decorated beautifully! The beds were so comfortable and the location was perfect! We loved all the shops on the property and it was a pleasant walk to downtown Traverse City. I love that we stayed in such a historical location and I loved that one of the books in the condo explained the history. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!
