This home has 2200 sq ft. 3 bedroom/3 bathroom Lakeview home is situated on the north bank of Lake Kimberley with a South facing pool area. The property overlooks a Nature Preserve where Deer, Wild Turkey, Possums, Racoons, Turtles, Eagles, Common Birds and of course some small Aligators reside. It has its own privately screened in solar heated pool, and an electric heater for the winter months. The pool is south facing which means sun all day, with plenty of sunlounging area for the 'sun worshippers'. Under the Lanai cool off below the ceiling fan. The home is furnished to a very high standard and beautifully maintained with three large reception areas comprising a lounge, TV family room and dedicated dining area. Both the kitchen and utility rooms are fully equipped with everything you would possibly need. Ceiling fans are a must in Florida but we have that covered also with fans to all rooms. We have thought of everything including beach towels, chairs and a cooler. The master bedroom has an ensuite with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower all remodeled to a very high standard. You will find a huge king size bed with ample pillows and linen. You will also find that a flat screen TV has been fitted. The second bedroom has a queen size bed again very comfortable. Bedroom three has two single beds all with two sets of bed linen. The house will comfortably sleep 6 people and provides ample space for two family occupancy.

Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood, but had some minor issues
The house is wonderful! The positives are that the house is very spacious and very clean. It was so relaxing sitting around the pool during the day and looking at the lake in the distance. We saw an alligator and some turkeys. Scott, the neighbor, is very nice and chatted with us about places to go and things to see. Stuart and his family live down the street and responded when we called. The kitchen is fully furnished with all kinds of dishes and pots and pans. If you want to cook or entertain, there were plenty of dishes and space.
The negatives were that we were asked to put all of our garbage in black bags. If we needed a third bag, we had to buy them. He left us two bags. We were asked to start the wash before leaving. He left us two Tide Pods. We wanted to wash our beach clothes out,
so had to buy more laundry soap. The bathrooms are beautiful, but there was not enough hand soap for all of the sinks. We paid $75 extra for the pool to be warmed. Upon arriving, Stuart told my daughter it was at 81 degrees. The pool heater said 90 degrees, but even by the end of the week, it still wasn't more than 81 or 82 degrees. (We have an inground, so we know what 85-88 degrees feels like.) Stuart told me he thought it should hit 87 degrees. It never got much warmer. My husband called Stuart. He said he would check it out. My husband was the only one who went in.
The other problem is that there is a lock on the thermostat. We have never seen this on a rental before. Perhaps it makes sense when it is very hot out in the summer, but as the temperature got cool for Florida, it was very cool in the house. We knew it would be cool at night outside, but didn't think we would have to wear sweatshirts to watch tv at night. The lock could be taken off when it is cool out. There should be exceptions for winter months.
There is a supermarket about a mile from the house. In the kitchen, there was nothing
but salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, and tea. We have been in several rentals. We have never seen a refrigerator or cupboard left with nothing for the visitors. We went to the store right away. The locked thermostat and cool pool are our biggest complaints.
The neighborhood is very nice and safe. You have to travel 15 -20 minutes to get to Dunedin and Tarpon Springs, but there are some great attractions and restaurants in both places. Clearwater Beach has many things to do too. Overall, it was a great time.
We are glad you had a great stay and thank you for the kind words regarding our home. I would like to respond to the minor issues mentioned. Our homes are advertised as self-catering. We kindly supply a few useful items to tide our customers over for a couple days until they have a chance to stock up. Food leftovers from previous renters are disposed of for health and safety reasons. I received a phone call 2 days prior to departure from the Husband and was told that everything was fine and would I please have a look at the pool temperature as it seems cool and he likes it 90 degrees. I checked the heater within the hour and the pool temp was 84 degrees and heating nicely. Our A/C thermostats are wireless and are pre-programmed, Cool 76 degrees and heat 72 degrees with Auto and can be remotely altered immediately if asked. To eliminate thermostat issues we have a lock that can be removed if required. It is at the renters discretion to start off any washing, which is of course appreciated. We only ask if you would kindly strip each bed used. Finally my Wife and I have been renting property for 20 years and are proud of our 5 star reviews. Please be sure to check them out.
We stayed at this impeccable home for a week in the middle of December 2017. It’s a beautiful home in a nice community and close to shopping, family and short drive to beach.
The view of the lake out the back is very relaxing. The owner was easy and prompt to deal with and returned my full security deposit quickly. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again. We enjoyed our stay.

The home is located in the most southern part of New Port Richey and the new Trinity area. Publix supermarket Plaza is a stones throw and within a short walk. Restaurants, Outlet stores, Banks, and a 24hr Walmart superstore and Target can be found at the Mitchel Ranch Plaza about 2 minutes away. Ten minutes south west and you will find Tarpon Springs the famous Greek Village known for its sponge fisheries and fresh shrimp daily. The nearest beach/picnic leisure area Fred Howard Park is also in Tarpon Springs. This beautiful facility has barbeque areas and a large beach that sits in the Gulf of Mexico. Island hop by ferry from Honeymoon Island to Calidesi Island which is minutes away. Clearwater Beach! here you can experience huge expanses of white sand, dolphin encounters, dinner cruises and more. Busch Gardens in Tampa is just a forty minute drive. The International mall is fantastic and is again found locally. Play Golf at the world renowned Innisbrook or at one of the many coarses found in the immediate area. Try your luck on a casino boat. Other Activities: jet skiing, boat charters, paddle boarding, canoeing, parasailing, boogie boarding.

We require a 25% deposit when reservation is made. We also require a $300.00 returnable security deposit (equivalent to 200.00 pounds sterling) payable with your final balance and is refundable immediately upon inspection providing there is no loss or damage. Deposits and final payment can be made by way of US Dollar bank check/draft, or personal check made payable to Stuart Maggs. We can also accept wire/money transfers (sender to pay all wire fees if any incurred)
