This executive home sits atop of seventy beautiful acres. Lots of wild life and mountain views as far as you can see. Very quiet and private location. Great for families with active kids. Wonderful hot tub sits on private deck. Have all the luxuries of home, with high speed Internet, and HDTV. Centrally located to many great tourist destinations. Sleeps 6+ - 3 King sized beds, window cushions for the kids or feel free to bring air mattresses.
This was the 6th CO cabin we've stayed in and it was by far the most secluded and beautiful. We arrived on Monday afternoon and it snowed that night and into the next day which made it absolutely breathtaking. Nothing better than sitting in a hottub watching deer not 30 yards away while it's snowing. Would highly recommend this cabin to someone looking for awesome views, lots of wildlife and total seclusion.
Me and my family stayed there once before in 2011. We enjoyed it tremendously then. This time we stayed rom October 1st to Oct 10th. this time it was more beautiful than ever. The fall colors were at their peak. We saw lots of wild life on our drives. The cabin was fantastic. We had a little trouble with the hot tub but Mike was very quick to respond and had the problem fixed very soon. the only thing I had a problem with was having to leave to soon.Highly recommend to anyone. We enjoyed the house very much. The layout accommodated the 4 of us perfectly. The view was great! We were disappointed in the overall contents of the house. No decorating at all. Pictures of the family need to be removed. Kitchen accessories was very minimum. The bed downstairs is horrible. Door downstairs doesn't work and they're are no privacy blinds on it. Several of the blinds in great room need to be replaced. This house could be so much cozier. Do not go to this house without 4 wheel drive.
We had a great time and enjoyed this home. The views were fantastic and the area very relaxing. The house had just about everything you would need including condiments and seasonings. One of our favorite days was just hanging out at the house and enjoying the property, deck, hot tub and playing games.
Favorite activities were rafting the Royal Gorge, Cog Rail to Pikes Peak and hiking the Pikes Peak area. It takes about 30 minutes to get to hwy 24 from the property but that was not an issue because it's a scenic drive, just note when planning travel time.
The only con to this property is the very small water heater. We had 2 adults and 3 teens (17, 16, 16) and were not able to do more than 2 normal showers at a time. Once we figured that out we were able to work our schedules around it but would have preferred if this had not been an issue.
We would definitely recommend this property.
We rented this home for a family vacation. It was great, very easy dealing with the owners and the property was everything pictured!
Very nice house. Plenty of room. Location is very secluded, just what we were looking for.
Did have some difficulty with the WIFI. Need to fix the locks on the patio doors.
Overall we were very happy with the rental. We would rent it again.
