'Sea View"'

This house, called Sea View, is a charming, traditional, ocean-side, beach house . It is one of the few historical cottages left on the island. The warmth and charm are there and we have up-dated and remodeled. It has five bedrooms and three full baths (upstairs - three queen-size beds and two twin beds and one bunk; downstairs has a queen, a double and a futon) Two additional, enclosed, beach showers are downstairs as well. There is a huge deck and screened porch with OCEAN VIEWS from all over the house. We are seven minutes from Wild Dunes, and 15 minutes from Charleston. The beach access is DIRECTLY in front of the house, and you are just seconds from the water! There is a private pool in the back yard and you are within walking distance of restaurants and shops!!!

'Sea View"' is very charming and lends itself to a variety of needs with sleeping arrangements to accommodate 2 to 14 guests comfortably.The down stairs is actually an attached, REMODELED (tiled floors and granite tops) 'mother-in-law' apartment which adds to its flexibility. There is off-street parking for 5 vehicles. The home is equipped with two separate living areas, fireplace, and large sun room, as well as washer/dryer. Features include tongue-and-groove oak walls and heart of pine floors. Flat screen TV's are in just about every room! A private swimming pool adds to the perfect location. The house is just a block from shops and restaurants....located at 817 Ocean Blvd., IOP..... Prices vary according to the season.

We have added a private driveway and parking space so whether the surf is up or down, there are places to park!

We have owed and managed this beach house for over 25 years. We live just a couple of blocks away, so we are close if our guests need anything at all!!!

About The Owner

We have owed and managed this beach house for over 25 years. We live just a couple of blocks away, so we are close if our guests need anything at all!!!

The Owner purchased this house in 1983

Why The Owner chose Charleston Area

The house is located DIRECTLY across a dead-end street from the ocean and the beach access is right in front of the screened porch and deck. You are 10 seconds from the water!!! There are ocean views from all over the house, and there is a private pool in the back yard. Also because the shops and restaurants are a block away, the location is perfect!!!

We live just a block from the beach house, so we are close by if you need ANYTHING.

Two Enclosed Beach Showers with Hot and Cold Water under the house, ample off street parking. Attached Mother-in-law Apartment adds to the variety of arrangements, the Apartment has a Separate Kitchen/Living Area, One-and-a-half Bedrooms, and a Full Bath, the Beach Access is Wheel-chair Friendly...we have a pool and a flat screen tv in most bedrooms as well as living areas!

Wonderful house and location!

We had a group of high school friends get together her at the wonderful Sea Breeze and it worked perfect for the 11 of us. Plenty of room and it was the perfect location. One block from the Windjammer, across the street from the beach and having a pool in the back yard made the weekend even better. Carly was so easy to deal with and great with communication. It was nice to have a lot of room for everyone to hang out and not feel on top of each other. I definitely recommend this to big groups of people, you can't beat the location! I hope to be back and will be letting my other friends know about this amazing house.

We are booking Sea Breeze for the 3rd year. We just can't give up this excellent location. We first chose it because of the accessible downstairs apartment and the proximity to the handicap access to the beach. Although that is not as necessary now, we fell in love with the place. My husband loves to sit on the porch and watch the ships go by. The enclosed (under house) showers with dressing area really extended the 3 full bathrooms. The private pool was just right. Owners were very welcoming and responsive when needed.

Wonderful Memories

Our family of 12, ages 1 to 63, just spent an amazing week in this lovely home. It perfectly met our needs, from the private area downstairs & baby gate, to the pool, to the many porches & windows to see out. The location was great and the owners were caring and attentive to all details of any needs. We were welcomed on our arrival and at our departure. No one wanted to leave & we all hope to be back some time in the future.

Beautiful! This was a perfect spot for our girls getaway! We enjoyed the front porch with the view and the private pool. Great location! It was nice to be able to walk to the near by stores to shop or grab lunch. Thanks for making this time special!

What a perfect place!

We just spent the most wonderful week at this house that's partly cool vintage Southern coastal plus ALL the comforts too! A great pool in the backyard! We didn't want to leave.

The owners are very hospitable and helpful. This house is a home run. We've already booked it for next year!

Family Vacation

I would highly recommend this house to anyone. It is the perfect beach house. The owners live close by and are ready to help in any way. My family and I felt like we were home. Perfect location and has everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again. We take our pets on vacation with us and this house is pet friendly. Can't say enough about our stay. Love, love, love it.
