We have lived and raised our 3 children in the South Lakeland area over the last 24 years. Keen on a number of outdoor activities, we still spend most of our spare time cycling and walking in this area. Happy to share this knowledge with guests.
Quirky modern barn conversion in quiet rural location yet within easy driving distance from Kendal town centre, entertainment, restaurants, cinema and both Lake District & Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
Quiet rural location, modern building, spacious and light with large gravel and grassed area in a secluded setting.

many thanks for a great stay
When we arrived we were delighted with the modern design & colours used in the cottage.
The interior was immaculate & had all the facilities we needed for our four night stay.
The views from the garden were beautiful and gave us a taster of Cumbrian landscapes; it was a pleasure to sit out in the evening, listen to the birds & enjoy a drink. All in all a wonderful cottage to stay in for two with easy access to many great walks in the Lake District.
If you want a house with big windows and a beautiful view this is definitely for you. Massive landscape across to Grange and the coast. Lying in bed watching the stars was also magical. A very comfortable, clean and well appointed house. Very warm and relaxing. More than enough room for two, and loads of storage space in the bedroom. Well equipped kitchen and lovely to have afternoon tea waiting for us. Howard was very helpful and made sure all our needs were met; thank you for the oven gloves.
A good location for visiting The Lakes, without the crowds!
Highly recommended. We have stayed in quite a few self catering apartments / cottages, this is one of the best.
Other periods of stay may be possible. Please contact the owners for help with this. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
