Wonderful view, plenty of room. Would have been nice to have the TV in the main gathering room as well as access from inside the house to the lowest bed and bath. Threats of charges for various rule infractions were unnecessary for a group of mature adults. With these exceptions we really enjoyed our visit at Above The Clouds.
Beautiful Cabin, great view.
My family and I had a great time. The cabin is beautiful very spacious yet cozy. It was clean and well equipped. One piece af advise though, if you are not familiar with the area, get there before sundown because the road is uphill and very curvy
The house was outstanding and the scenery was magnificent!

View makes it 5 star, but no tv on kitchen and livingroom floor made it bad for our parents who are in their 80's and wanted to watch their tv show, could not climb stairs to watch tv, and lights were very dim which made it hard to read or put puzzles together. beds upstairs and some of others were not very good. But as I said view and decks were great . private place to enjoy our family and make memories
What can we say.
The photographs show the house as having stairs, we do say four levels, and that there are T.V.s only in the Loft and in the Master Bedroom.
Not stated all beds in the Loft, and in one of the Bedrooms at Main Level, were replaced last October, 2018.
As to our Guests which have special needs, they call prior to making their Booking.
Do believe you needed to call us and make sure the house worked for your 80 year old parents.

So much to appreciate about this home!
The rental process on HomeAway was easy. April, the property manager, sent texts in a timely and helpful manner.
What you see on the website, which was one of the most informative of any I’ve seen, is accurate. I appreciated the organization of the information, as in looking at the photos, they are in the order of how the rooms are situated as you go through the house.
This property is not far off the main highway, on a narrow well paved road, with a large gravel shoulder where two cars can pass. There wasn’t much traffic while we were there though. GPS took us straight to the property. The climb up the road is an easy incline to get up to the beautiful, wide open view across the valley and mountain ranges. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars, and could fit one more. This house sits in the “woods”, but has a small grassy area at the lowest level. The decks were wonderful living spaces. Chairs, swing, table for dining, grill.
There was so much space in this large house. The two main floor bedrooms are smaller compared to the other rooms, but adequate for the beds in them. The master suite downstairs is very spacious, with a larger bathroom. It has the one bathtub in the house and a large shower. All other bathrooms have showers. The upstairs loft area was great, and a good living space all by itself. We liked that each space had its own air/heat unit. Like a small HVAC system. Each room could have the temperature set to each person’s individual needs. The galley kitchen had upgraded cabinets, appliances, and granite counters. It was thoroughly stocked with all that is needed to cook, plus small appliances like coffee maker, crockpot, toaster, etc. The drawers and cabinets were very organized, and made “hunting” for things in a strange kitchen easier. There were coffee filters, powdered creamer, brew and instant coffee, sweetener, sugar, salt and pepper, some spices, oil, cleaning supplies, some garbage bags, etc.
There is a bedroom on the “basement floor” of the house with living space and bathroom, that we didn’t use. It is accessible from the outside.
The home furnishings are nice, the water pressure great, comfortable beds, clean, games, etc.
This is a very comfortable, well priced house, and highly recommended.
With such a large house, with beds for so many, we didn’t understand the owner’s rule of 8 maximum staying, or on the property at any given time. But he’s the owner.

this was a nice secluded home. very clean and a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and the home. the road getting up to house is steep, only an issue if renting when snow may be an issue. I would recommend this property to anyone with a group of 6-10.
