Amazing get away location. Panoramic views. Peaceful and quiet. Short walk to sandy beach. Great neighborhood. Friendly and safe.
Convenient to restaurants, shops, gifts, grocery and amenities when needed.
Lincoln City beaches are some of the most vibrant beaches on the Oregon Coast—a favorite of artists and outdoor adventurers. The beach may best be know as the place to find glass floats placed along by beach by local artists. Beachcombers, the lucky ones at least, who find one of these colorful pieces of glass art, can visit the Lincoln City visitor center to get a certificate of authenticity. Even if you don’t find one of these glass floats, you’ll still find a host of treasures along this beach. This stretch of sand alongside the Pacific Ocean is a wonderful place to fly a kite, stroll along the beach, and explore by kayak. Whatever strikes your fancy, you’ll be sure to find adventure along this slice of the Oregon Coast.
We had our stay at Jewel by the Sea last week (mid August). 4 adults, 3 kids. The weather was great. We had a couple great sunsets, foggy mornings. Can't win them all. We are pretty sure we saw one whale blow from the dinning room. The upstairs has a great view and you can hear the roar of the sea.
We hiked to the water fall listed in the guide book. A good walk.
The bike lane along Devils Lake was too narrow for our toddler buggy so we skipped that.
Our kids age 2,9 and 17 enjoyed the toys and games in the house. We all enjoyed the music and books.
The beds were comfortable.
I am glad I brought a large pot to cook our crab in but other than that the house is well stocked.
I recommend checking out the ocean rocks at low tide. We saw crab, fish, clams, snails, starfish, sea anemones, and even a small eel. It was great!
We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
Had a wonderful time with my friends at this home! It had everything we needed, great location, clean, comfortable, etc. In the a.m., we had the gift of watching whales for quite awhile. Was so cool, what a gift. Loved that the ocean was so close for us to walk to as well. We really had a great time and I would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay for the 4th of July holiday. The ocean view is amazing. The location is perfect, just up the hill from the beach. The home itself was well-equipped for my whole family. There were lots of toys to keep all 4 of my kids entertained, and the upstairs bedroom was fun and comfortable for my boys. All of us agreed that we would love to spend more time here.
I'm withholding a star because it was very frustrating to find the house. The address listed on the HomeAway app was incorrect. And the "Get Directions" instructions took us to a totally different address. We had 2 incorrect addresses, no photo of the exterior of the house to know what we were looking for, and no answer when we called the first contact number several times. Thank goodness I finally got ahold of Dawn, the cleaning gal, who went out of her way to look up the correct address for me. She seriously saved the day!
So, yes, we loved our stay once we finally made it to the house! But please correct the address provided to HomeAway.
This was a very nice home and we enjoyed our stay. A short drive or walk down to the beach. The house was clean, great deck and view, overall very nice!
We loved staying there and would recommend it to anyone.
We had relaxing & fun stay at beach house. Beach access was easy walk. House was clean and comfortable. New BBQ grill on deck. Nice TV and Internet. Close to good resturants. Owner was helpful.
