This has been our family home for nearly thirty years although at times work has taken us all over the UK and Ireland. Travel as been the preferred option rather than moving from this beautiful area.

It's so peaceful, with easy access to the countryside, lovely walks and cycling. We are just in Wiltshire, the Hampshire border is less than a mile and the Dorset border is within 10 miles.

A jewel in the New Forest crown

A long weekend combined with a family celebration and we needed somewhere to stay. Well Wich Hazel hit the mark in every respect. A warm welcome, a well designed and maintained apartment that is very well appointed, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The welcome is warm; the attention to detail, excellent; the surroundings one which you can simple immerse yourself in and relax & enjoy.

The apartment is in a quiet corner of the New Forest but has good access to the Forest.

There were ample (and current) information leaflets offering ideas for what to do / see in the Forest and the surrounding areas, and waterproof versions of OS maps, including one bespoke OS map that placed the apartment more or less in the centre (rather than on the edge of the 'standard OS map). A small touch but one that if you are exploring the Forest very helpful.

We were only looking for a long weekend, but having sampled the delights of Wich Hazel, we would certainly stay again, only look to stay longer next time!

This property is exactly as depicted on the web site. The property has a perfect location to many points of interest in the surrounding area. It is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment was very clean, has a comfortable bed and seating area. It was equiped with everything you need for longer stays. The owners, Colin and Ann, are very accommodating and offer you any help you may need. We highly recommend this apartment.

Quiet location but easy access to the New Forest. Very friendly owners. All we needed in terms of equipment. Very clean and fresh. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

Cosy cottage with excellent facilities in peaceful location with varied activities and attractions

Perfect location - Salisbury a short drive away for museums, shops and eating places, local region great for walks, as well as the New Forest and beaches to the south. Owners next door were friendly and on-hand if needed, but also let us enjoy our holiday without interruption. Accommodation very clean and tidy, and had everything needed for self-catering.

Ideal for the couple who want to get away from it all. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Perfect getaway!

The apartment is beautiful and so clean and tidy, Ann and Colin are extremely hospitable and gave us everything we could've asked for and more! The house was equipped with everything we could need. I definitely recommend this holiday apartment, the best holiday accommodation I've stayed it, and in such a gorgeous and ideal location!! Will definitely be returning.
