Brenzone is a pearl on the Verona side of Lake Garda.

Located in the center of the lake in the Riviera degli Olivi to the south of Malcesine, where the lake is still thin and deep and not far from the coast where there are two small islands, it is historically and tourist area of transit for trade between Po Valley and the Alps and so even linguistically, the municipality is the son of three cultures: Verona, Brescia and thirty.

The district, one of the largest in the province Veronese (50.10 km²), is located at an altitude of 69 m. above sea level, but its territory rises to the summit of Monte Baldo.

The main feature of this country are the many towns and villages, of which one is right Sommavilla, where is Our Holiday House "Il Melograno", so much so that the town does not concentrate in the main area, but it is scattered on the slopes Baldo Brenzone hinterland and the name does not so much a resort, as the entire municipality.

Hospitality and accommodation facilities are now key points of the local economy, which also on the cultivation of the olive and the production of a precious oil, the production of forest zone and freshwater fishing.

Just tourism owes its wealth, thanks to the landscape in which it's part is ideal for water sports enthusiasts and for excursions in the rich hinterland. No coincidence that the Garda appears to be an ideal training ground for active sports: a landscape that starts from the lake water reaches peaks over 2 000 meters of height. On this hypothetical altitude you can find everything from the wind that pushes the sails, the more traditional beach, mountains to climb by any means, from the bicycle to ax up to ski worthy of the most renowned ski resorts in winter.

Our municipality has two nautical centers, sailing events that attract a select clientele, sailing schools, windsurfing and kitesurfing. There are numerous possibilities to organize interesting diving expeditions in various areas of the lake.

Even the muntain bike has seen a major spread. Many paths that Lake Garda and its hinterland can offer and many points where you can rent one. The most significant milestones for most bikers are the mountains surrounding the lake. Thanks to the service carried by cable car Monte Baldo, the first rotating in Europe, you can bring your mountain bike at high altitude, where endless opportunities await you! And for the novel "Icarus" that have the courage to leave the ground suspended their hanggliders also the possibility of an incomparable glide several kilometers in altitude effectively maintained by good thermal currents that rise from the lake Garda. For some and for others the real problem is to abandon the dream and come back down to earth!

There are also numerous walks, trails and hiking trails of varying difficulty that wind along the plains, through those hills before ending at high altitude. Not surprisingly, in recent years this han aroused more and more interest in the activities organized trekking and north-walking. Tennis courts in every town and golf courses and riding schools within easy reach for lovers of these prestigious sports.

There are also numerous historic and artistic attractions: Romanesque churches, sanctuaries, fifteenth century villas, lands of medieval origin, is a case in Field located in a picturesque valley sunny immersed among the olive trees, adorned with a small church with frescoes of the '300 and where are organized every year, "magical nights", typical houses with stone faces, ruins, museums and numerous fortified cities and castles, bearing witness to an illustrious past rich in historical events.

Every week are also organized trips to Sirmione, Verona and Venice, where in addition to the arena and the opera season, you can also visit the house of Romeo and Juliet and there is also a chance to cross the lake by boat, landing well on the Brescia side, where you can immerse yourself in the world of Gabriele d'Annunzio, and spend time on board of historical boats. Other entertainment is represented by amusement parks (Gardaland, Caneva World, Movieland, Natura Viva), the spa parks and the Sigurtà Park, known as the "temple of nature"; all facilmetne reached by car within 40km.

Finally also numerous theme nights, organized in the various villages, with live music and tastings.

Now only missing you!
