It has been a month and a half now and I have not received my deposit back. Our stay was great and so was the place. At the time of booking, the property managers were particular about timeliness of the international wire. The wire from me to them went through overnight, and even for that they needed proof of payment as soon as I sent it out. On the reverse, it has been an especially horrific experience. I had asked at check-out if they had the information to wire me back and Jessica said will take it up over email. Couple weeks later, I was asked for wire detail. A week later, on follow up, she said wire was rejected and provided no other info. Instead passed me along to Paulina and gave me the wrong email id. Since Paulina was the person who helped us at the house while we were there, I had her on Whatsapp and communicated with her there. A week later, I learnt that the wire had failed again. Jessica was now unreachable because she had left the company. Details of status have not been forthcoming and the process is horribly opaque. I haven't got my deposit back and I still have no idea what is going on! I am now miles away and can only guess that I have been cheated off my deposit, not a small amount by any means.
