Having holidayed in the locality for many years, I bought this property for my retirement. With a few more years to work before then, I am delighted to share it with others in the meantime.
Jean purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Jean chose Criccieth
The cottage is situated in a very peaceful village within easy access of Criccieth and Pwllelli, small holiday towns with good beaches, ice cream, and everything else needed for an enjoyable holiday.
What makes this Cottage unique

In designated 'dark sky' area perfect for stargazers due to minimal light pollution. Close to Welsh Highland Railway and spectacular coastal rail journey Pwllheli to Machynlleth approx £17 return. Bear Grylls survival centre and Segway adventures within walking distance. One of Lonely Planet's top ten Regions to Visit 2017.

Lovely property, beautiful area. The owner is so helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.
The location was excellent, the property was to a very standard we liked everything about it. Definitely go again.
Fabulous holiday base.
Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the cottage. It has been finished to a high standard and has everything you could want! To say that it is well equipped doesn’t do it justice..... the owner has provided everything you could possibly need!
The village of Llandystumdwy is a great rural location with plenty of evening walks straight from the house. There are also things to do with children ( the rabbit farm) and the David Lloyd George museum on your doorstep!
We had a great holiday and would love to return!
Very nice house, excellent location for exploring.
House is a very high standard, with Jean taking great care of details, so house has everything you could want, and is very clean and tidy. It is also surprisingly spacious inside.
Jean was also excellent in communication prior to. on arrival and during our stay.
For us the location was excellent to explore some of the area. The walk up the river and along the coast to Criccieth are both beautiful and not too strenuous.
Local pub is OK, beer good, but food not so, and seems an uncertain welcome awaits! Up for sale so would be great if that improves it.
Lloyd George museum well worth a visit.
Would definitely consider using it again.
We were met at the property and made to feel very welcome by Jean who showed us around. Everything was provided for; towels, sheets and many more things. The rooms are all well furnished and decorated There is a garden and patio at the back and parking for 2 cars. It's in a quiet location and the coastal path is just across the road, and a river walk nearby. Couldn't wish for anything more!
Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Quiet peaceful location only a few minutes drive into Criccieth.
A truly idyllic holiday. Jean has created a wonderful home away from home and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
Snowdonia has recently gained 'dark sky' status, perfect for stargazers due to minimal light pollution. Great for railway enthusiasts as close to one of the most spectacular coastal railway journeys (Pwllheli to Machynlleth return approx £17) as well as Welsh Highland Railway at Porthmadog. Bear Grylls survival centre and Segway adventures within walking distance. Beautiful countryside and interesting history with many castles to explore nearby.
