Guestbook comments from the owner

Location, location, location. A very ideal location in Quebec City. Most activities & sights were an easy walking distance. It is a spacious light, clean, & airy modern apartment (not street level) with a new bathroom & kitchen. The second bedroom with two beds was ideal for my two adult daughters who joined us for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Quebec City. Being able to eat in with a kitchen conveniently equipped including an array of spices for cooking was appreciated. Randa was only a phone call or email away for any help we needed. When we rented a car near the end of our stay the parking structure nearby was a very short walk. My family's only complaint was that the apartment had already been rented for the end of our stay so we had to move to a hotel. It made us appreciate the apartment even more.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My family of four stayed here in the summer. What a perfect location. Walk to almost everything - restaurants, shopping, the Citadel, Notre Dame, the lower quarter, and the market. I would definitely come back. The only negative is that there is no air conditioning, which would be nice on the very hot days. Well appointed, nicely furnished, and a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. A great place to stay!

The location is perfect. Central to the City attractions all within a few minutes walk. The Chateau is just down the street and bistros, cafés, pastry at Paillard's, groceries around the corner. Great home base for enjoying all the the area has to offer. The apartment is modern, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Well equipped for dinners in relaxing to recharge for another day. We will be recommending this charming condo to our friends.

The owners were wonderful to deal with and provided fast service to help us with a place for our Thanksgiving Holiday to Quebec City. We are left with great memories and an appreciation for this beautiful city. We will be back!

Fabulous Location, Lovely Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

The location of this apartment is great—very close to numerous cafes, restaurants, stores and tourist attractions. Loads of things in easy walking distance, we only used our car when we wanted to go somewhere outside the city, such as Montmorency Falls (only a 15 minute drive away and a must-see!). The fountains outside are lovely to look at and my sons enjoyed running through them on a hot night. The apartment itself is very comfortable for a family of four—well maintained and modern appliances, with reliable wi-fi. We will definitely be recommending this apartment to friends looking to visit Quebec.

Perfect beautiful location, walkable to everything

  • 5 of 5

This condo was even better than expected. It has the charm of its 188 years, but recently redone so is clean and beautiful. We were able to sleep 5 comfortably with the pull-out couch. The kitchen was well-equipped. And we felt so lucky to be staying right in the heart of Old Quebic City. The winding cobblestone streets with all the little outdoor cafes, music and pedestrian malls were right outside our doorstep. The owner even called on our first day to give us tips on great places to eat, etc. Our favorite was Paillard for hot breakfast croissants. Some nights we cooked in, and enjoyed eating out on the little rooftop porch. With our three teenagers (19, 17, 15) our trip was a nice mixture of city life and hiking adventures. We went whale watching in zodiac raft boat in Tadoussac, crossed all the footbridges at St Anne's Canyon, biked around Quebec and out to Montmorency Falls to hike up that, walked the walls of the city, did a guided food tour in St Roch, and enjoyed lots of creperies and outdoor cafes. On the last night, we even all had fun running through the colored water fountains right across the street!

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

The location of this property proved to be absolutely perfect. We could go out in the morning and easily stop back for lunch or to rest a bit before heading out again for the evening. We were thoroughly impressed with how clean and well-maintained the property was. The photos do not do it justice. The WiFi worked well, which was important to our two teenaged daughters. The water pressure is wonderful, and the bed linens and towels were clean and looked new. The kitchen is very well-equipped; bring along food to cook or stop at the local grocery store or the farmers' market down by the water. Overall, we could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family of four. We highly recommend it.

Super Location

  • 5 of 5

Cannot say enough nice things about Randa's condo. The location was perfect for the two of us and our two granddaughters. Close to all transportation (we took tours to Montmorcey Falls and Wendake) and all vans were just down the street near the Chateau. The condo was more than comfortable, very clean and well equipped for cooking although most of our meals, sans breakfast, were out. The recommendation for the small market around the corner on Rue de Jardines was great and they had everything needed, including a small SAQ outlet for wine and beer. Cannot recommend enough how wonderful it was to be there for the New France festival and to watch the incredible parade that was accessed just down the street from the condo. If we get the chance to return without grandchildren, this is the place we will stay.
