Guestbook comments from the owner

Location, location, location. A very ideal location in Quebec City. Most activities & sights were an easy walking distance. It is a spacious light, clean, & airy modern apartment (not street level) with a new bathroom & kitchen. The second bedroom with two beds was ideal for my two adult daughters who joined us for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Quebec City. Being able to eat in with a kitchen conveniently equipped including an array of spices for cooking was appreciated. Randa was only a phone call or email away for any help we needed. When we rented a car near the end of our stay the parking structure nearby was a very short walk. My family's only complaint was that the apartment had already been rented for the end of our stay so we had to move to a hotel. It made us appreciate the apartment even more.

My family loved the beautiful apartment which had everything we needed. My daughter played in the fountain across the street and we enjoyed hearing them from the living room. Comfortable and convenient location. Great experience staying in a renovated 200 year old building. Like charming Europe...

Wow what a wonderful Condo and a great vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing week long winter vacation at this condo. The place was perfect and the location ideal for our family of 5. With 2 adults and 3 kids we had enough room in the apartment with 2 kids in one room the 2 adults in the other and one of the kids on the pull-out couch. It was clean upon our arrival and exactly as expected.

Randa was great to work with as she answered all of our questions and called us upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and to recommend some local restaurants.

The location was ideal as we walked to tobogganing, skating, many restaurants and coffee shops, lower quebec city, and the museums. We will definitely be returning in the summer and I hope to book this condo again as it was ideal. The kids also loved the high-speed internet as they used this every time we returned from our adventures.

Thanks Randa for sharing your condo and I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to experience old Quebec City!

We had an amazing time in Quebec City last week and what a great place. The location is perfect with a ton of shops and restaurants all within walking distance and also a bunch of stuff to do with the kids from skating to tobogganing and the provincial museums too.

The condo was exactly as described and nice and clean upon our arrival. Sleeping was comfortable and the kids were happy with the WiFi access as thats the first thing they do is connect every time we returned.

With 2 adults and 3 kids we were comfortable and had enough room and the two flights of stairs to get to the 2nd floor was not a problem. Randa the owner helped us find some great restaurants in the area and was available to answer any questions as well at anytime.

I highly recommend this condo and we look forward to visiting QC again soon and hope to stay here during our next trip too.

beautiful city.beautiful apartment

We had a wonderful stay in Randa's condo right next to Chateau Frontenac and within walking distance to all of old Quebec and all the way to Museum of Beaux Arts. We had a delightful view of Rue St Anne and the decorative Christmas lights. We even has a morning wake call with the calm "manifestations". We had beautiful food at the local epiceries and enjoyed shopping at the farmers markets. The apartment was clean and well appointed: most important when you are

traveling with two teenagers. We would highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderful vacation and a chance to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

  • 5 of 5

The reviews are spot on! This was our first trip to Old Quebec City. Randa and Matt were great host. They were very responsive and professional in all transactions. The rental was exactly as described. If anything, the pictures were deceptive as to how nice the flat actually is. The location is perfect for exploring all Old Quebec has to offer. We were able to walk most anywhere in both upper and lower town. If you drive, parking can be found across the street under City Hall. Access is midblock of Rue Pierre Olivier Chauveau with 24 hour access, overnight and multi-day parking available. There is a small grocery store a short walk away on Rue des Jardins where you can to pick up necessities. There are plenty of restaurant options and a fresh market right off Quai St-André offering plenty of options if you want to prepare meals in the well stocked kitchen. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not a place for you since it is located up 2 flights and like many flats in Old City, there is no elevator in the building. For us, they just aded to the adventure and actually found them to be very inviting even after a long day of walking enjoying their pathway to solitude and relaxation. The fountains across the street provide for a relaxing scene at night when they are all lit up in changing colors. The weather was warmer than usual for the time of year we visited. It made for a wonderful experience exploring Old Quebec's sights and outdoor cafes. While visiting we also took an afternoon to visit nearby Montmorency Falls and even drove up river a few hours to Baie Saint Catherine to go whale watching in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. Make sure to experience both the upper and lower towns. Each has its own personality to be enjoyed. Randa and Matt had lots of information on hand at the flat and with the Tourist Information center only a block away on Rue St. Anne, you will have no problem finding information on all Old Quebec has to offer. Thanks for the hospitality and letting us enjoy this experience.
