Fabulous home from home
This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Once again the villa was home from home luxury. Frank looked after us again very well. The pool a godsend in the 30+ degree heat and the many terraces made alfresco dining a must. The air conditioning was also great. Carcasonne is 15mins away by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave.
Only one word fantastic
Had a fantastic two weeks in this lovely property. On arrival met by Frank who was very friendly and informative. Excellent salt water pool, crystal clear and always clean, but was a pity the spa pool was not working, but still give it 5 stars. Lovely location, stunning views from the property. The property was a good base for visiting the beautiful area. Would reccomend it.
Amazing amazing amazing!!
A fantastc property in a superb location. The views are breathtaking with Carcassonne (about 20mins away by car) in the distance, which is very pretty at night. Very quiet location. The south facing pool, which gets sun all day, is perfect for cooling off. The various terraces provide variety for dining al fresco and the BBQ area was perfect. The house itself was a home from home. Very comfortable with everything you could need. This is the best accommodation we have stayed in, in France. Slight negative was that air con wasn't working properly but otherwise a truly luxurious property. We would love to return.
It is wonderful to know that you thoroughly enjoyed your holiday at Villa Romarins especially when your arrival coincided with your birthday! There is nothing more satisfying than to know that your stay was pleasant enough to want to return. Thank you for letting us know of the slight issue with the air con. The owner has been made aware and a specialist will do all the necessary to correct the situation. Enjoy the rest of the year and looking forward to having you as a guest at Villa Romarins in the near future!
Excellent Property, very quiet and with views to die for.
The only negative was that there was not a double bed available for my wife and I to use. There was one on the property but it was locked off. My wife and I, since marriage, have never had to sleep in single beds and if I had known that a double bed was not available we would not have booked this villa.
Otherwise, my wife and I were extremely satisfied and pleased with all other aspects and facilities with our stay at this villa that we had booked for 2 weeks. If a double bed had been available we would have awarded a 5* rating.
