|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
Main Street Cottage is located in the heart of downtown close to shopping, restaurants, nature hiking trails on the river and of course the world famous hot springs.
In winter Pagosa Springs is famous for its powder snow and you will find Wolf Creek Ski area just a short 20 minute drive from your front door. When you return you will find the hot springs only a short block away and excellent restaurants literally out your front door.
My home has many of the features that discriminating travelers expect in their lodging, such as a flat screen TV in the master bedroom and incredibly comfortable beds (1 King size Sleep Number and 2 Pillow top Queens) to greet you after your fun day in the mountains.
The kitchen is nicely appointed with granite counter tops and stainless appliances and has everything you will need to grab a quick snack or prepare a gourmet meal. Enjoy the use of a brand new high efficiency washer and dryer during your stay too!
We enjoyed every moment. It is so convenient to downtown for evening enjoyment and the skiing was great. Thank you so much for making our stay in Pagosa a perfect getaway.
This home is a beautiful place to stay and is well furnished. Deposit return was smooth. Will stay again in future.
This truly was a home away from home for our family of 6. Home was comfortable, climate controlled, with spacious kitchen and living quarters, washer/dryer that's so necessary after snow activities, all as described. Very clean, well maintained property. Enjoyed the location! We walked to the playground, park, downtown, visitor's center, river walk, reservoir sledding hill, shops, and delicious Riff & Raff Restaurant . We played in the fresh snow in the yard and at the park down the street. The hot springs are very close by, but we did not get a chance to soak. Owner was easy to work with and responsive to questions. Also, we loved that there were some Christmas decorations around the house, very nice touch. Boys said it was a beautiful drive up to Wolf Creek Ski area. We would stay here again, and highly recommend this house.
We come to Pagosa about once a year and always look to see if Livia's house is available. It's walking distance to several places on the river where our kids (10 and 7) can play for hours on end. Walking distance from the Malt Shoppe and Pagosa Baking Co, 2 of the best places anywhere - not just Pagosa Springs.
The house has a nice, private downstairs third BR that we sometimes use for an extra friend of family member that joins us. The Pizza place across the street has served the same below-average food for years, but they have nice cold beer on tap! Also noticed this trip that Last Lift coffee opened up right next door. They made a good cup of coffee in the last location, so I'd imagine its a-ok.
The Main Street Cottage is conveniently located to Pagosa's attractions (spa) and restaurants as well as superb bakery—yet it is set back from the main road and offers quiet sanctuary without the bustle of traffic or other street noise.
The cottage itself is remarkably clean with new fixtures and comfortable but high-quality furnishings. It is elegant in presentation with two porches on the street side of the house, the downstairs one is accessible by french doors from the living room and has small seating and a grill. The upstairs porch offers sunrise views from the large master bedroom and also has a few seats for drinking coffee or tea.
Our family of 4 plus a Nana spent our 5 nights in excellent comfort. Nana got her own space downstairs, and each of the 3 bedrooms had their own bath. The master bath had a two person tub with jacuzzi jets and a hand shower that delighted the kids.
We were even able to host a larger gathering due to the enormity of the kitchen and the generous supply of cooking and serving items provided. Like everything else in the house these items were spotless, new, and of high-quality.
All in all this is a highly recommended place to stay, whether you have a family like ours and need a good base to return to after a long day out in the wilderness or at Pagosa Springs attractions or if you are a quieter group looking for a little peace without being too far outside town to be able to take a walk to get anything you might need.
We loved it, and offer many thanks to the owners for making our vacation so relaxed and comfortable.
This property was all we hoped it would be and more. The house is attractive, cheerful, comfortable and well furnished. The location is perfect as it is in town on a quiet street and only a block from the San Juan river. The boys brought home trout for dinner from their fishing expeditions. There are great restuarants within a 2 block range . There is also a nearby park, swimimng holes and funky shops. The time in Pagaosa at this cottage will always be a fond memory.
Me,my husband,my mom/dad, and our two sons (ages 4, 12) stayed here for our FIRST ski trip ever. The house was beautiful inside and out. Very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Full size washer/dryer worked great. This home is more beautiful inside than the pictures show. We were very impressed! It was very close to wolf creek ski, which is why we were visiting Pagosa Springs. We will hopefully be staying here again next winter. Thank you.
Walk from the Main Street Cottage and enjoy the town park, walking paths, and downtown shopping area. Great Hot Springs only 3 blocks away! Enjoy weekly rodeos, art festivals, ballon rallys and many more fun activities throughout the summer!
