We picked this location for its proximity to the Airport as we were arriving late. Helen met us at the airport which was wonderful and essential as we would never find the house. The driveway was shocking as it was like climbing into the alps so not for someone with little experience with standard cars. After staying at 4 other location during our stay in Guadeloupe I think this place was not a great value. To put it bluntly ... Way over priced! Again the property manager Helen was very helpful and kind. I think the owners need to invest a little TLC . Towels, basic cleaning supplies, mosquitos nets, and a proper turn around spot for the car.
Beach from the town and night market on Fridays from 16h to 21h.
Visit the Fort Fleur d'Epée overlooking the bay, the Aquarium.
Tasting a Mojito at the Marina in the middle of the boats.
Leaving the Marina towards Pointe à Pitre and shopping streets. Stop on the Victory Square and its fish market and further Halle spices.
On the road to St Anne, stop at St Felix and buy Boudin then towards the beach and the restaurant feet in the sand while enjoying a grilled fish.
Arrival of St Anne, a dilemma which beach to choose? Plage Caravelle or that of Bourg. Restoring all along the beach, village and craft market.
