This one bedroom cottage is right next to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the South Downs National Park. There is a good sized living room and dining area with a kitchen behind. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a shower room. The cottage sits in the grounds of the owner's home and in the summer guests have access to a heated outdoor pool. The setting is very rural in the heart of the Downs.
The Queen Elizabeth Country Park is popular with walkers and cyclists. It also includes Butser Hill the highest point in Hampshire on the South Downs. The market town of Petersfield is one of a few towns inside the park boundary. To the east is Uppark and Harting Down. To the west the cathedral city of Winchester is approximately 17 miles away on the end of the South Downs Way. Good road and rail routes make Portsmouth and the historic dockyard very accessible as well as easy access to London.
