'The space exceeds the photos!' is the comment most used by our guests. We have gone the extra mile in every aspect and it's now paying off. The space is perfect for a party or a large group or families - we're 10 minutes from Turnpike Lane tube station, 15 - 20 minutes to all the top London attractions and you still get to enjoy an idyllic and quiet setting for when you want to chill out in the evenings.
The ground floor includes:
Huge dining space
Garden with barbecue & table and chairs
Shabby Chic - with double bed and TV
Vintage Vogue - with king size bed and TV
The first floor includes:
The Green Room - with double bed and TV
Ruby Rouge - with kingsize bed and TV
Maison Blue - with kingsize bed and TV
The loft includes:
Kingsize bed with TV
Walk in wardrobe
Plus 2 additional single beds, if required.
My recommendations for the area include:
- Most tourists love Wood Green High Street as it's 5 minutes from our house and has all the high street stores including Primark, Next, TK MAXX. River Island, H&M, Marks & Spencers etc etc.
- For boutique shopping I recommend Crouch End, either 20 minutes walk or take the 41 bus. This is where all the media type & artists live and there are some fabulous and reasonable shops to find real bargains.
There are many parks near here. Finsbury Park is our favourite. There's also Brentpark, Clissold Park, Hampstead Heath or Highgate. We also have 3 bikes which you could borrow if you fancy taking on the London traffic. (It's the best way to get to know London and both myself & my husband cycle regularly so would recommend it!)
There are 2 cinema's 5 minutes from the house. It's cheap cinema night on a Monday so you can watch the latest movies for less than £5.

I also love sourcing bargains, so would be happy to go onto the deal sites for you and get you some 2-4-1 vouchers etc if you confirm what cuisine you like, or I can pre-book something amazing for you on toptable.
We're only 20 minutes from central London, so whatever you fancy doing, it's all very accessible.
Hope that gives you a flavour of the area and what's possible. We're an irish family living in London, I have twin girls currently aged 5 & 1/2, we're very used to visitors and my dream job, which I'm sure will never happen, would be to open a boutique B&B serving fab food. This is me dipping my toe into the water. But do come and join us, you won't be disappointed
Public transport is easy. You are 5 minutes from the Piccadilly line tube station, you can also catch the 29 bus into town from outside of the tube station, we're 10 minutes by bus from Tottenham Hale rail station - which connects to Stansted Airport and Stratford - and given that we're pretty central - with bus, tube and train links - getting to where you need to go shouldn't be a problem
Orla and Titti have been friends for a couple of years. We met through our kids and have wined and dined together, dieted, cooked, jogged, chatted and most recently opened a couple of houses in London for guest. Orla has been in the tourism business for 3+ years, Titti is an old-timer and has been doing this for 20 years +. Together we hope to ensure you have a memorable stay with us and we are available to help, whenever necessary.
Orla & Titti purchased this house in 2015
This property went live in June 2015 and we've been stunned at the uptake and feedback from guests. It's a massive property, centrally located near Turnpike Lane tube station (Piccadilly line), every detail has been finished to a very high spec and the best features include:
- amazing entertaining space and kitchen - which is flooded with light and back onto lovely private garden - where you can chill and barbecue
- The loft space is our pièce de résistance and includes huge open space, TV (all bedrooms have TV's), en suite and walk in wardrobe. This can comfortably fit 4 - 5 people.
We always attempt to surprise our guests and give you something you are not expecting. So all guests are met with some home cooked favourites - Titti is Italian and Orla is Irish - so you may be treated to cookies, scones, irish soda bread or a selection of home-cooked treats for breakfast.
We also ensure that the cupboards & fridge are full of those essentials you'll need - we'll have cereals, bread, tea & coffee for breakfast and then simply assume you'll have all the herbs, spices, oils and vinegars etc that you'd expect in a normal larder.
Aside from the above, the house itself is pretty unique for London and we hope you'll love it.
Wow - what a pleasure it was to host these guests. They were a joy and a pleasure. We arrived to clean the house on Sunday, all the beds had already been stripped and the place was immaculate. Thank you so so much.
Orla and Titti are fantastic hosts they were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The homemade cakes on arrival were devoured instantly by our party. We were a large group of 9 adults and 5 children but there was plenty of space and the living area was great for our evening get togethers. Every room has that special touch, the bathrooms are very luxurious and we were provided with lovely matching towels and toiletries in each one. We also requested parking permits which were at a special rate and Orla and Titti were on hand to sort that out for us too. The house is approx 15 mins walk to the tube which is on the Picadilly line and took us straight into central London, in fact it was a great help at the start of our holiday as half our party flew in from Australia and we were able to get on the tube at Heathrow and go directly to Turnpike Lane without changing, that was a real bonus.
I thoroughly recommend this wonderful find especially if you are a large party and thankyou Orla and Titti for making it extra special.
This place was great for us to stay. We were 3 families, 6 adults and 5 kids and we all slept very comfortably. The house is very nice and clean, bathrooms were great, and bedrooms were superb. Having the kitchen with some breakfast items like cereal and oatmeal was great to get our day started as we spent all of our daytime touring the sites in London. The Turnpike tube stop is about 10 minutes walk and very easy to do. It's on the Piccadilly line which turned out to be one of the best lines for touring London as it had all of the great stops close to the sites we wanted to see and it was convenient for us to stop in Covent Garden on our way to grab dinner and then just get back on the same tube. Everyone enjoyed staying at the house and I was especially appreciative of the hosts accepting our rental request with only a few days notice because our previous rental in London cancelled on us 3 days before our arrival due to a water line break that left the place uninhabitable.
We had a wonderful time in London and were very happy to have this home to come back to at the end of the day. There was more than enough room for our family of 8 adults and 4 children, and it was very nice to have all the amenities - several of us were so happy to see actual hair dryers! Easy walk to the tube, and the outdoor area was a great add-on. Oh, and an actual clothes dryer was a luxury after spending more than a week in England without access to one - particularly after we figured out that we needed to empty the water-collecting container - not really a feature in the U.S., but we're learning. : ) Thanks for a terrific stay.
So, we were a party of 11! And, what a blessing to find this house and, more astonishingly, this amazing house-mother! We came home to find brownies (home-made) for the kids. A Chalk board welcoming us, and enough bedrooms and accommodations to make us all feel amazing after our travels! UGH! The house is great for a large party. You were our salvation when our hire-bus was late being delivered and you were so understanding about all our "special" needs. The house is about a good 10 minute walk to train; but once you are past that, there are many possibilities into the city and many local joints to get breakfast etc immediately. We loved it! Thank you Britain and thank you Titti! Love Mary Jane & Nigel and our 6 kids, and the hangers on that followed us to London.
The house was absolutely fantastic, spotless and so stylish. All the rooms were decorated to a really high standard and there was so much space for us all. Our group was 14 people for a weekend get together and there was plenty of space for us all. Also having a garden was just fantastic, even more space for us to enjoy. Lovely homely touches throughout the house as well. I would highly recommend staying here.
Great stay in Orla & Titti’s home. Fantastic for groups. Each room has been thoughtfully put together, the interiors throughout are inspiring and the communal living space and garden are very comfortable. The hints and tips for the area were great and we really enjoyed the local pub.

HUGE NEWLY REFURBED HOUSE - SLEEPS UP TO 14 - 10 minutes walk from Turnpike Lane tube and 1-2 minutes from the shops / cafes and pub.
The best thing about this space is it's large, bright and spacious and all newly refurbed to the highest specification. It's my second big refurb project and I'm delighted with the result. The space is colourful, fresh and modern, very comfortable and it's got everything that you'd need as both a guest, tourist or home owner. My motto is to ‘Go the extra mile to ensure lasting memories and return visits...'
So a little bit about the space:
I've an avid cook so the kitchen and entertaining space are most important. The kitchen can easily seat up to 10 people, we've got 4 extra chairs if required and my latest treat to myself (or you) is the wine fridge. You have ample fridge and freezer space in the kitchen plus all 'must haves' you'll need to put a great meal together excluding the primary ingredients...(we've catered for your oils / vinegars / herbs / spices and many more basics that you generally need in a kitchen). The kitchen space is huge and has a great skylight positioned over the dining table, not to mention to double doors leading to the garden - it's a bright, happy and large space...perfect for parties and has a Bluetooth speaker you can connect to your music. We can also arrange a guest chef to cater for you - if you'd prefer that and then cleaning staff to tidy up the next day!
All 6 bedrooms have been themed... so you've got a 'Vintage Vogue' and 'Shabby Chic' theme on the ground floor plus a large bathroom, on the first floor you've got 'Maison Blue', 'Ruby Rogue' and 'The Green Room' - again with a shared bathroom and our pieces de resistance is 'The Loft' with en suite, large living space and walk-in wardrobe (which can double as a kids room). All beds have been lovingly sourced from auctions and mattresses are brand new, either orthopaedic or a mixture of orthopaedic on one side and memory foam on the other. I love my bed - so a good nights sleep is most important! There's 4 king size beds in the place, 2 doubles and the ability to have 2 extra singles if required.
The garden is a sun trap and is simply lovely to relax in during the day or evening and you are only 2 minutes from the parks if you fancy a jog, a visit to the playground or a trip to the local cafe....
You will have access to the entire house - it’s yours for the duration of your stay. We won’t disturb you unless you request some assistance.
We like to think we don’t have rules. We have families on either side of us – so we would ask you to respect our neighbours and be mindful of them throughout your stay.
Probably the comment most used by guest thus far is ‘The place is better than the pictures’…. We aim to exceed your expectations and have been doing a good job thus far.
