A newly re-furbished spacious 3 bedroom Victorian house only 5 minutes walk from the beach. Ideal for family holidays sleeping up to 6 people. Supermarket, independent shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and railway station all within a short walk. The Valley Gardens with wooded walks, bandstand, cafe and play areas are also within walking distance. Surfing is also available. The North Yorkshire Moors, coastal resorts (including Whitby) and other places of interest are only a short drive away.

An excellent place to stay.

The house is much more spacious than it appeared in the pictures. It is comfortably and tastefully furnished . I loved all the pictures on the walls. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Two added bonuses were the dishwasher and washing machine.There was always a constant supply of hot water and the walk in shower was excellent. The position of the house is very good,not far from the sea and close to the shops and restaurants. We couldn't fault it as a place to stay and hope to be back before long. The accommodation would be absolutely perfect if it were possible to park in the yard at the back of the property,but we did manage most days to park near to the house.

Great property very close to sea

We had a lovely relaxing time staying here. The property was much bigger than we expected. Decorated to a very high standard with a light airy feel. Everything you need, well equipped kitchen and lovely big bedrooms and sitting room. Immaculately clean everywhere. This is situated in a quiet residential street and we heard no noise throughout our stay even late on at the weekend was quiet. It is a very short walk to the sea which is lovely and an even shorter walk to the supermarket. There are local restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, outside parking is on both sides of the street which is not always available right outside the property but there are always spaces further down. We never had a problem parking. There is a small backyard with a picnic table which is a real sun trap and again very quiet. Some sun chairs would have been good as it's not always comfortable to sit and read at a picnic bench. The house has all the mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. All looked brand new didn't actually use them but sure everything would be fine. Greeted on arrival by a very friendly and helpful young lady who presented us with a bouquet of fresh flowers which was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend this property it's like home from home and convenient place to explore and wouldn't hesitate staying here again
