Secure parking for 2 cars and secure bike storage. Guests also have use of the communal gym.

Stunning scenery for walking and cycling from the doorstep. Other outdoor activities in the local area including fishing and golf, along with historic places to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the villages of Castleton and Eyam and the market towns of Bakewell and Buxton. Award winning pub opposite and amenities in Bamford village, approx 1.5 mile, including community pub/cafe/post office, bakery and petrol station/convenience store. Additional amenities and cafe/restaurants in Hathersage, including an outdoor swiming pool.

Bus service to Sheffield/Castleton and trains to Sheffield/Manchester.

I purchsed this property in 2008 with the intention of holiday letting. After successfully letting the property for a couple of years, I decided to move in and have lived very happily in the apartment for the last 5 years with my 2 daughters. I have now moved to Bamford village, approximately a mile away from the apartment, as I love the area so much. I am therefore on hand to help you with any queries you may have during your stay and able to service the property myself, ensuring the highest standards.

Very clean and well maintained apartment

This stunning apartment near the lady bower reservoir fully met our expectations. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equiped. We did some stunning walks and visit various properties of The National Trust in the Peak District. Chatworth's House is very beatiful and we made a lovely walk on the estate.

Great apartment

All contacts with owner efficient and friendly. Beautiful apartment , well appointed, comfy, - everything you need. Secure parking too . Pub across road,and another 15mins walk down the road - pie night there fab! Plenty of walks to do from the front door! Only drawback- on a beautiful evening nowhere to sit outside- but then we were exhausted anyway from our long walks so to relax in the comfy sofas was all we could manage!

A very well-appointed and maintained apartment which was a great base for our holiday. Dealings with the owner were very easy and prompt - definitely something we would book again. Great pub just 100 yds down the road with good food and real ales.

Brilliant apartment in a brilliant location

This lovely modern apartment was spotless and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the beds were extremely comfy and the whole apartment is beautifully decorated. The location is brilliant and only accross the road to Ladybower Damn and The Yorkshire Bridge pub.

What more could you want!

Very spacious apartment, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, ideal location next to the reservoir and the pub is literally the other side of the road. I fail to see how anyone could find anything they didn't like about this place. Phil Sussex

Our apartment is situated in a perfect location to enjoy spectacular scenery whilst walking, mountain biking, or climbing. It is also provides a great base to explore the local area, including Chatsworth House, Longshaw Estate and the Castleton Caverns.
