We give you our best to make your dreams come true.

Testimonial date 17/03/2008 from Mrs. Sylvie : 'We were looking for a place far from crowded resorts in a paradisaical location. Villa Flury is the right choice and photos on the advertiser website are very well representative. The villa is very functional and comfortable. It offers a magnificent view on coco trees, beaches and the see.
The Dominicans that we met at the villa (to clean the swimming pool, the house, to prepare delicious typical Dominican food, and the fishermen) and elsewhere are very nice people.
Also, the agents Sarah and Yocasty are very friendly and welcomed us very well. They arranged trips and other as we need. Every thing was perfect and we highly recommend Villa Flury for a quite stay in a wonderful place.'

I'm skeptical to share this little piece of paradise, because I want to keep it all for myself! It truly is an amazing house in the most amazing location in the DR. Everything was so great, we are already taking about returning next year! Our favorite things about this house are the location (so out of the way and remote), the view from the pool deck, the nice, open common room to hang out in at night, and the amazing cooking of Margarita. Seriously, the best food on the island. The house has four bedrooms, two of which have king beds and two which have two twins, and four bathrooms. The showers upstairs didn't work very well, and the hot water is spotty at times, but those were minor complaints. Everything else was great.
OK, the house is very nice, gorgeous setting, lots of fruit trees and palms around(we picked some limes from a tree nearby for Cuba Libres). Yocasty is really very very helpful, arranges everything you want and tries to even get you a good deal if you want to take a boat to town, fishing trip, etc. Although the price the locals ask is a bit much. For a 4 hr fishing trip initially we were asked $200, but ended up paying $120. Jerardo, who was taking care of the house and cleaned the pool is the guy to ask to get some fresh seafood and minor supplies(rum... we run out..).We paid about$30 for two nice lobsters and three fresh fish which he cleaned for us. If you don't speak spanish, you might have some problems communicating with locals, but Yocasty is there to help.
The beach is very nice, although you gotta be a little careful as the waves are strong and there are some rocks here and there. The best spot is the very far right of the beach(if you're facing the ocean). There's a bit of a break from waves and its private. If you got kids, or not a strong swimmer its the best place to go.
Hike to Rincon Beach was nice(Jerardo took us there and then came back to take us back). The restaurant there was just Ok though. Lobster was good, but ocean perch wasn't all that fresh we thought. On the way there you get to see a couple of small beaches, very nice.
Now on to other suggestions.. Don't go if you can't enterntain yourself. For us peace and quiet was exactly what we wanted and we'll go back as soon as we can. Bring some CD's and DVD's for evening, they only got a couple in the house and radio doesn't always pick up a station. Expect bugs and mosquitoes, so bring repellant. Bring more cash than you think is absolutely necessary, everything costs quite a bit. Try to learn at least some basics in spanish, it will help. BBQ is not what you have in N. America; you actually have to build a fire.Put EVERYTHING in the fridge, inc. bread, etc. If you don't, microscopic ants get into food. And if its ruined, you can't just run up to a corner store. DO stare at the sky at night:), its unbelievable.. and they got those bugs that glow flying around. You can request for service people to show up every second day; we did as we wanted more privacy. The town of Las Galeras is small.Italian store there is good for sandwich meat, etc. Cabs are VERY expensive.
Well, altogether its a great place and my wife and I definetely recommend it.
The house and the views are every bit as stunning and remarkable as the pictures suggest. It's an incredible area with lots of things to do. I do recommend renting a car. It's about a 20-25 minute drive to Las Galeras. Las Galeras has very limited options for obtaining groceries, so I suggest you get them in Samana on your way to the house. Yocasty and her staff, Margarita and Geraldo are fantastic. Margarita is a wonderful cook, and Geraldo is gracious and fun. We did the walk to Playa Rincon with Geraldo. While it would seem simple to just follow the coastline to get to Playa Rincon, it's not actually that simple, so I recommend going there first with Geraldo, and if you choose to return on another day, maybe then you can try it without a guide. Security is a challenge in the region, so I recommend that you not bring valuables. Yocasty has addressed this issue by providing a 24 hour armed security guard. (He's very on obtrusive and does not infringe on your privacy)
This was our second time staying at this property, and loved it just as much as the first. We brought friends visiting from the U.S. who have two young children, along with two friends from Santo Domingo, and they all loved the place as well. The pool, view, access to beach and overall condition of the house is what makes this place so special. The maid makes great food if you ask her to. Yocasty, the manager, is very good at communicating and her office was very helpful with possible backup plans in case our Hyundai Elantra could not make it with all the rain we had (it made it!!). Make sure you communicate ahead of time if you need to use the oven or the outside brick barbeque, as these may not be ready to use when you arrive unless you ask. This will be the place we will always look to book when we have a group of people and want to go to Samana Peninsula.
This is a beautiful property--one of the most beautiful in my travels in the DR. We loved the beach and the pool as well as the kind consideration of the management of the property. The house is well taken care of with phenomenal views.
A great house that served me, my wife and my 3 grown daughters and their husbands well. Very comfortable, situated on a beautiful piece of land. The views of the ocean from the porch are spectacular. The pool is great. The beach within walking distance of the villa is I think, the better of the beaches in the area. We took a nice walk to the much talked about Rincon beach, in my opinion the beach close to the villa is the best around. Yocasty the manager was a big help when we needed it and Margarita the cook/maid is a beautiful soul who cooked us a beautiful meal one night. I would totally recommend this villa. I would love to go back.
I want to start by saying that i really didn't think i was going to like this house because the pics don't do its justice...BUT i was plesently surprised. The house is enormous and the views are out of this world. Steps from a private beach and the sand is so soft on your feet. We went for a run everyday and it was fantastic. Margarita, the cook, was fenomenal and cooked delish. We can't wait to do this again SOON. I would recommend the owner adding AC as it doens't have any. Over all, we had a wonderful STAY!!!! Yocasty was OUTSTANDING with all her help! THANK YOU.
This Villa is located in a complex called 'Colorado Project' at Playa Colorado.
At its left side starts the Beach of Rincon, very well mentioned in all the guides where you can read something about.
Playa Colorado is located at only 18 kilometers from Las Galeras village, but the only way of communication is a dirty road into a very bad condition, and it takes at minimum 30 minutes to run it.
