First Time Vist to London
This was our first time visiting London - we came for an NFL game. Having no idea where to stay, we did a lot of housing research. We initially chose this space for the following reasons: 1) the general location (Marylebone) was highly recommended to us through a friend that lives in London; 2) the unit had two bedrooms with two queen beds which we required; 3) the price was reasonable; and 4) the photographs of the unit were encouraging. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully met by Thea at a time that was earlier than what was anticipated (which we were thankful for after a long overnight flight!). We found the unit to be clean and accommodative to our needs, especially the kitchen which we used every morning for a breakfast meal. It helped that there were several grocery stores nearby. We also liked the close proximity to a Tube station (less than 5 minute walk) which allowed us to explore all parts of the city. One or two observations we would make is that neither bathroom has an electrical outlet (the women noticed this immediately!!) but they managed to make do. The other would be to perhaps offer a second set of keys to the place, especially if the unit is rented by two couples. This would allow for some flexibility in case one of the couples decides to do something on their own, etc. Again, not a big issue, more of a convenience factor. The management company communicated very well with us. The transaction (deposit/payment, etc.) went very smooth. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in London (we were there for 8 days) and would look at this unit again if we were to visit London again.
The apartment was really good matching the picture that shows on the web. I like the neighborhood as well. I would like to thank Van he let us to check in at 11:00 instead of 13:00 wuth iut any hesitation and he was really hlepf any tome i ask him for any thing.
Definitely this apartment gonna be my accommodation when ever i go to london.
Nice home base for your London visit
This was a very nice, modern apartment and a nice home base for our London visit. The location was close to the tube allowing us to easily head out to the locations we wanted to visit. A grocery store is within an easy walk. Vanzyl was a great host and gave us some good sightseeing tips.
