Our Ventnor Seafront accommodation consists of three new luxury beach houses, each sleeping up to ten across four bedrooms, Crab Cottage, Herring House and Lobster Lodge and a newly refurbished 3 bedroom apartment called Mari Laetare all enjoy stunning panoramic views across the English Channel and are perfectly situated just yards from Ventnor seafront and the beach itself!

Ventnor is one of England’s most famous seaside resorts, known for its unique micro-climate. Set on the south side of the Isle of Wight, Ventnor has a decidedly Mediterranean feel with its cafes and restaurants spilling out onto the pavements of the Esplanade. The town of Ventnor lies beneath the Island's highest point on St Boniface Down, and is mainly built onto the side of a steep hill that leads down to the seafront and beach.

Crab Cottage has a master bedroom with balcony, overlooking the sea; two separate twin bedrooms and a child's twin bunkroom, with a third "trundle" bed (that can be pulled out from below the bunks). This means that it provides flexible accommodation for between two and nine people, or ten if you include the supplied travel cot for an infant.

Layout of the house

On the ground floor is a twin bedroom and the bunkroom; a utility room with a fitted washer/dryer and a large wet room - perfect to hose off those sandy feet after a day on the beach! The wetroom also has a toilet for the lower bedrooms.
 On the middle floor you will find a spacious open plan kitchen/diner and lounge with a large balcony with superb views out over Ventnor Bay and the English Channel. The modern fitted kitchen has rear access which leads directly to your private parking space. 
The top floor comprises the master bedroom with balcony overlooking the sea; second twin bedroom and a stylish bathroom.

Great accommodation with fantastic sea views!

We've just returned from a great week at crab cottage. The location is great with fantastic sea views. The standard of the property is 5* with all requirements caterers for.

Many good places to eat and drink nearby along the seafront. Within a 2-3 minute walk is a good cafe, fish and chip shop, restaurant (the ale and oyster) and pub. Plus others we didn't have time to try.

Also recommend a hot stone massage at the cabin (4 mins walk away).

Further away from the cottage we recommend cable cars at the Needles, coffee and cake at Godshill and the Pearl Factory. The Wight House Inn is a great pub too.

The property is in an amazing position with tremendous views. Well equipped and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and being so close to the beach. The house was clean and spacious. The welcome box was very appreciated especially the fruit and wine. Ventnor is a great location with good restaurants and little shops. The property gave us everything we needed and more.

Lovely spacious apartment in great location

Our family of 4 ( children aged 18 & 22 ) really enjoyed our stay in Ventnor. The apartment was spacious and clean with all facilities we needed , and the view was fantastic,with the beach just a few steps away. Ventnor was a great place to stay with some good cafes & restaurants and lots to do nearby.

This house is perfect . . In a fabulous location on Ventnor's esplanade with stunning sea views ... Large, comfortable, spotlessly clean, you couldnt get any better ... I would confidently recommend these houses, so much so Im going back myself ... cant wait

What a week!

We have just spent a week in Lobster Lodge and it couldnt have been better.Not only was the accommodation excellent we chose the week when the sun insisted on shining every day. Apparently that is the norm for Ventnor!

We liked the the fact that we had our own front door and that it was a house rather than a block of apartments and that it was good to have a parking space as I imagine in high season parking could be a problem.

We expected Lobster to be spotless and good quality and it is.Comfortable beds and quality bedding along with the sea view was perfection.But for me,to hear the sea on the shingle at night and upon waking was magic.

If you are not comfortable with walking uphil then this might not be ideal but the sea front has plenty to offer.Spyglass for coffee, ice cream parlour for afternoon stop, and Ale And Oyster for supper .Excellent.

We had only one blip,when the boiler had a moment Chris was there within half an hour and done!

The town may seem abit run down but talk to the people behind the counters they are friendly and interested in what you have to say.South Today and Sally Taylor was as impressed as we were!

Mari Laetare is our newly refurbished three-bedroomed, beach-front apartment on Ventnor Esplanade. Situated just yards from the beach it is positioned close to our beach houses and decorated to the same high standard throughout. It's just a minute from the famous Spyglass Inn and from the apartment's balcony you can enjoy breathtaking views across Ventnor Beach and the English Channel.

The layout features a master double en-suite room, with two additional bedrooms (one double and one twin room) sharing the spacious main bathroom. The lounge at Mari Laetare benefits from its own balcony and as mentioned looks out directly to sea, with excellent views across Ventnor Bay and the English Channel. Two large sofas, one four-seater and one two-seater also allow you to enjoy those views in real comfort.

Mari Laetare self catering Ventnor bedroomThe well-equipped fitted kitchen is a real home from home with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an oven and hob. It is seperated from the main lounge and large dining area which can comfortably seats six people in style. There is also a more infromal round table to seat four persons, perfect for some breakfast overlooking the beach.

Mari Laetare also benefits from its own private parking space - whilst this isn’t directly next to the property, we are able to offer a dedicated space within the grounds of the other Beach Houses, approximately 150 metres along the seafront.
