Why Kirsty & Peter Kingsbury chose West End
The apartment is situated in a unique building from the Art Deco era of the 1930s. Lovingly restored in the Art Deco style to match the origins of the building, the apartment offers a warm Scottish welcome in a homely environment, ideally located to explore Edinburgh. Princes Street is only a 5 minute walk away and the apartment is on the doorstep to all sights and venues in the city centre. The property is also on main bus routes (bus stops outside the front door) and a very short walk to trams and trains, helping you explore the city and beyond. The locality within the city is perfect with the proximity to local amenities and events outstanding.

Hopetoun Suite is in a quiet residential building and, as such, it is not suitable for stag/hen parties or similar groups. Check-in is from 5pm Monday - Friday and from 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Check-out is by 10am. Other times may be available on request.
What makes this Apartment unique
Lothian House boasts an entrance from the street which will bring you back to the 1930s - the element which inspired us to reflect the era in our own apartment. The apartment itself has a homely feel with the log fire (electric) and hearth giving a warm heart to the property. The very large windows pull in a wonderful brightness from outside and act as a stage for a view to the castle you will benefit from every day, but especially the nights of the fireworks during the Festivals in summer and Hogmanay (New Year's Eve). The well stocked, smart looking kitchen has everything you need for your stay and the bedroom offers luxury every visitor deserves. All in all, the apartment can't fail to impress with something to offer couples, tourists, city breaks, business trips and more.

Great Edinburgh Suite! Sept 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay. The location is great and is in walking distance of a good variety of dining and all Edinburgh has to offer. Kirsty and Peter have thought of everything. We loved being able to come "home" after a long day of adventure. The apartment is superbly decorated and all your questions are answered in their welcome book and instruction manual. Even a nice welcome note and goodies upon our arrival.

This is a great place to stay in Edinburgh. It' close to everything and has everything you need. These nice folks have thought of everything. When I come back, I will definitely try to stay here again. Thank you.
Lothian House was a clean, cozy apartment within walking distance of the castle and royal mile.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lothian House. The owners make every effort to insure all goes well. There are grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants nearby. The apartment is clean, cozy and well equipped. The instruction book for appliances, internet, etc. is amazing. We also appreciated the yummy treats and coffee/milk. We took their advice for calling a cab, restaurant suggestions. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to just sit and relax. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others travelling to Edinburgh.
Central apartment. Easy access to busline and everything Edinburgh has to offer. Would definitely book again. Kirsty and Peter were out on holiday but their management company took care of everything. Thanks for sharing your lovely place with us.
Five Star All the Way
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully maintained property! The location was perfect, situated between the old and new parts of the city. Groceries, entertainment, restaurants and tourist attractions were all within walking distance or short bus rides. You can look out the window and see Edinburgh Castle - what more could you ask for? The property itself was very clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for an evening at home. We were thrilled to find such a good selection of tourist brochures and books on site with suggestions of things to see and do while in Scotland. My husband was very impressed by the detailed manual provided by Peter and Kirsty for the operation of all the appliances in the property! Great attention to detail and very much appreciated. The one or two questions we had while staying there were promptly responded to by the owners. Thank you for a wonderful visit and for arranging the early check in for us. We highly recommend this property.
