Our extensive farm (360 m2) from 1875 has been completely renovated while preserving its original style and charm. With its beautiful volumes and its many amenities (pool 10m x 7, with slide, large sauna, barbecue, baby equipment and more (see details)), our house is very functional and particularly suitable for groups and large families.

The villa "The Michial" is located in a charming hamlet. The entire building terraces and pool are south-facing. It is a haven of calm hand, its spaces offering privacy and unparalleled views of the valley breathtaking.

"The Michial" Ideally located between Sarlat and Rocamadour, in the famous Black Perigord, the southern part of the Dordogne, the world capital of prehistory, province of a thousand-and-a-castle, a place of great gastronomy and wine tradition.

You can discover the famous Périgord specialties (foie gras, truffles, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, walnuts, strawberries, cabécou, wines, and duck breast confit, enchauds, etc ...) through its many local markets, and visit typical farms.

Our farm is located in a hamlet belonging to the village of Saint-Julien de Lampon where you will find all amenities (bakery, butcher, grocery store, bar-pizzeria, doctor, dentist, pharmacy, post office, bank with cash machine and a typical market on Thursday morning). The nearest supermarket is in Souillac.

Access to "Michial" is easy with the A 20 motorway (15 min), Souillac train station (15 min) and Brive-La-Gaillarde airport (30 min).

Nearby you will find the "Michial" The Dordogne (2 km), Carlux and the ruins of its medieval fortress (8 km), the castle of Fenelon (9 km), Souillac (10 km), Eyrignac and gardens (15 km), Sarlat-La-Caneda (20 km), Valley castles Beynac-4-Marqueyssac Castelnaud-Fayrac (30 km).

Also within an hour: the Lascaux caves, sinkholes Padirac, Proumeyssac and La Fage, Rocamadour, the castle of Hautefort, Turenne and many other treasures of our heritage.

Side activities: swimming pool on the property, riding Souillac, GR6 leaving Carlux, tennis (4 km), canoeing and swimming (River Dordogne 2 km), golf (Souillac).

So, if like us you like staying with family or friends vacation time our large farmhouse is for you. Come and taste the joys of diving in the pool after a sauna, barbecues on the terrace, large tables, vigils under a starry sky, sunsets over the valley. The peace and tranquility of places will allow you to rest in peace between two tour of the area.

Maison très agréable et adaptée aux familles nombreuses ou groupes, piscine au top et tranquillité

Nous étions un groupe d'amis avec enfants et avons passé une super semaine dans cette maison. Maison adaptée aux enfants, piscine très agréable et sécurisée ! les lieux sont tranquilles, et vue imprenable de la terrasse. Cuisine bien équipée quand on est nombreux.

La propriétaire est très à l'écoute et ouverte à tous commentaires afin d'améliorer l'accueil des hôtes! Merci encore!

Un très bon moment

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette grande maison au milieu de la nature.

La terrasse avec son barbecue surplombe les collines, la vue est magnifique et dégagée.

Les enfants ont passé leur temps dans la grande piscine, et les adultes ont apprécié l'indépendance et l'intimité qu'offre la disposition de la maison.

Nous étions 3 couples avec des enfants et c'était parfait !

Nous aimions déjà la région et nous avons pu pleinement en profiter.
