Very well planned and appointed cottage. Made a good base to explore the area for us. Loved the horses and ponies grazing outside the window.
Peaceful, relaxing break
Lovely cottage, perfect for 2 people and dog. Good access with wheelchair and well equipped with everything we needed. Very peaceful, relaxing location and just what was needed. Enjoyed visit to Borders Distillery in Hawick and lunch at Born in the Borders. Will definitely recommend!
Thank you for such a lovely review. I'm so pleased the wheelchair access was a success and that corridors and rooms were spacious enough for the cottage to be fully enjoyed. I really hope you both return. With very best wishes, Mirry
The cottage and area were lovely.
The cottage had everything needed including a lovely welcome pack. Great garden with lovely horses in the field next door. Plenty of information on the area & walks for dog.
A Piece of Heaven
Beautiful location handy for everything but rural enough to enjoy peace, quiet and tranquility. Quality property, exceeded our expectations couldn’t fault anything. Extremely clean and tidy quality fixtures and fittings, plenty utensils etc. Beautiful welcome pack. Fab garden for our dog, endless nights watching bunny rabbits hopping in the garden and listening to tranquil stream running at the end of the garden. Deers, barn owl, bats and horses,a definite animal lovers haven. Lots of beautiful walks on the door. Couldn’t want for more. Get booking people cause we will definitely be back! Thanks to Miranda for helping to make our stay a very memorable one.
Hi Jen, this review is exactly the reason why we love having people to stay in the cottage ... Your gorgeous card was a really thoughtful touch too. Thank you so much, your kind words are so appreciated and I very much look forward to you, Chris and Cassey returning. With very best wishes, Miranda
Had a relaxing time and visited local attractions
Lovely, cozy cottage
Adorable and cozy little cottage with high-quality finishes throughout. We very much appreciated the goodies that awaited us upon arrival. We brought our dog with us and took advantage of the proximity to Edinburgh. Nearby Kelso has lots to offer, and we absolutely loved the seclusion of the cottage, despite its proximity to all of the activities!
Hi Sydnee, thank you for such a lovely review and I can't say how excited we were that you were coming to Old Nenthorn Cottage for your honeymoon!! I'm so glad the visit was a success and not only do we wish you both a wonderful marriage, we also very much hope that you will return. With very best wishes, Miranda xx
