Your really stunning luxury Three Bedroom Two Bathroom Apartment has individually controlled air conditioning and is on the third floor of a portered building, with a brand new lift to all floors, just 2 minutes’ walk from Harrod’s store and other exclusive shopping in London’s Knightsbridge.
It’s a short walk from some of London’s main museums – Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum – and in walking distance of Kensington Palace and Gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and direct from either Knightsbridge or South Kensington tube stations – both a short walk from your apartment.
Your contemporary style apartment has wooden flooring in the Lounge, Third Bedroom and hallway, with carpet in the other two bedrooms. As you open the door of the apartment, you will sense the luxury standards throughout right away. You are greeted by an exceptionally spacious Lounge with three very large, comfortable sofas as well as a single fold down bed. The dining area is now in the very spacious Lounge, making way for a third bedroom with Double bed.
In the Master Bedroom you will sink into the carpet as you walk through the door and sense the luxury that awaits: a queen size Double Bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets, plenty of space around, a large, built-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower are just some of the features waiting for you.
The second bedroom is equally striking. Front facing, it is light and has a Double Bed and a large built-in wardobe. The bathroom for this bedroom is just across the hall and features a spacious shower cubicle.
The third bedroom has been created from what was the dining room, providing a quality Double Bed in an exceptionally spacious bedroom.
There is a high quality fold down chair/bed in the Lounge for a 7th guest.
The kitchen is very well equipped with up to the moment appliances, including a hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a coffee maker, kettle, toaster and ample cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware and everything else you may need to remain fully independent during your stay in London.
The immediate area of your apartment has numerous small shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a choice of Marks and Spencer, Little Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local, all within 2 minutes’ walk and some open from 7.00 a.m. up to midnight. If you decide to go out to eat, you will find yourself spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by.
Do make sure to slip down the side streets around your apartment where you will find the village atmosphere of Knightsbridge still alive and well. There is a beautiful garden square moments from the entrance to your apartment and several mews and streets of small, very individual shops and restaurants that you just will not find anywhere else.

About Robert Hargreaves
My whole life has been built around travel, so it's a real pleasure to be able to share some of those opportunities with you. I have had a long career in hotels and serviced apartments in the UK but now I just enjoy what I have always loved: travel. Favourite destinations include Koh Samui, Thailand; Palawan, Philippines; Luang Prabang, Laos; Dambulla, Sri Lanka and many, many more. My favourite food choices pretty much reflect where I love to go. As I am not always in London, I have some friends from the industry who look after my guests and my properties for me. Duped by property description!
Sadly I should have paid closer attention to the property reviews. We never met the flat owner, but rather his associate. Oddly the associate asked me to send him a photo of my passport, I declined his request.
The one truth about the description is a great location. Very close to Harris’s and plenty of shopping and restaurants. The flat is spacious but does not come close to luxury. The en suite shower is a leaking disaster, with a rotting tub enclosure. The other bathroom shower didn’t drain. The kitchen had several problems. The most obvious was the faucet. The associate said it was ok to use but to be careful as it wasn’t secured. The refrigerator never seemed to cool, the milk we purchased got warn overnight. And as a previous reviewer noted the dryer does not work at all. Carpet in the bedrooms is stained and shabby. The drapery are not even attached to the majority of the rings, they are barely hanging there.
We were glad to have the space of a flat, over a hotel, but this is not even close to luxury and not worth the nightly rate. Owner was made aware of my concerns he wished I had let him know sooner. My thought was how about you make sure things are tip top before guests arrive.
Weird layout - not well maintained
This place is not as nice as it appears in pictures - certainly NOT luxury. The 2 bathrooms are adjacent to each other, right next to the front door. The first bathroom was locked when we arrived, and the guy who let us in had to jimmy it to get it open. He said he would have it fixed - but didn't. When anyone in our group shut the door, it would lock automatically. This meant that someone on the outside had to get a knife and jimmy it to get them out. The layout is a giant "L" with both bathrooms in one corner. The coffee cups in the cupboard were still dirty. The dishes from the last occupant were still in the dishwasher. The pillows were flat and appeared to be filled only with cotton. There were no extra pillow cases, and some pillows were dirty. The kitchen was in a small room with a door - which was odd. The washer/dryer combo was poor at both functions. We had to dry clothes 3 times, and they still were not dry. The master bathtub was broken, and could only be used for a shower.
On a positive note, the location was very near Harrods and the Victory & Albert Museum, and the WiFi was good throughout the apartment. Although it is on a busy street, there was minimal noise in 2 bedrooms, but a lot of outside noise in the last bedroom. The decor was nice and simple. The beds were not very comfortable. We stayed in 3 different VRBO's on this trip, and this was our least favorite - but most expensive.
Great location...shabby apartment
We (a family of 5) were extremely excited for our two week stay in Knightsbridge. I had several very helpful email exchanges with Robert, and felt very optimistic, especially as it was labeled 'luxury' and we were looking forward to some fantastic lodgings (and paid up for it-this is not a cheap rental by any means). However, nearly immediately upon arrival we noticed several things:
-no towels (bath, kitchen, paper...no towels AT ALL). We were assured they would be there soon, but what with the Easter holiday 'things were running a bit behind' (never mind that our reservations were several months in the making, and the towels could have been brought in well before). It took until late into the evening to get towels; the kids had already gone to bed after a 10 hour flight without a shower...when we received towels, only one kitchen towel was included (!)
-the 'master' bath was in terrible shape. The tiles on the floor were dislodged, they'd clearly had a leak they hadn't really dealt with, the wall was cut into and then covered in water-stained paper that was curling and falling from the wall; it had clearly been there a while...
-light bulbs were out throughout the apartment (entryway, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.). We let them know within the first day or so, and they only changed a couple.
-the light fixtures in two of the rooms were literally falling from the ceiling (I wish I could post pictures)
-the towel racks in both bathrooms were falling of the walls
-the curtains were (literally) falling off their rods.
-there were (water??)-stained linens in the master bathroom as well as falling out of the unusable upper closets in that room.
-the bedroom with the blue wall had two closets that were full. One with cleaning supplies and the other with a huge stack of water-stained pillows.
-we prepped for the cleaners and they didn't show. Once again we were out of towels as we had (inanely, I admit) put them all in a pile to make it easier for the cleaners. We got towels the following day.
When I brought these issues up with Robert he was lovely, but I had to ask for a rebate. There were several delays in responding. He offered (and we accepted) approximately 5% as a rebate and a 'significant' (though unnamed) discount on future stays. This is useless to us; there is no way we will return to this apartment despite its optimal location. I cannot recommend the apartment.
More like a hostel than a flat.
A 2 bedroom flat has been converted into a 3 bedroom minimally furnished series of beds in various rooms, including the lounge area to sleep 7. Certainly not a typical London flat. Furniture was worn. We did not stay at the flat and moved to a hotel after looking at the accomindations. Certainly not Luxury.
Naturally, we very much regret that this guest felt as he did about the apartment. Equally, naturally, supported by the other reviews here, I would disagree with his assessment but I respect each person has an individual and highly subjective view and is fully entitled to it.
This apartment has 3 bedrooms, each with a Double bed one of which was recently purchased at very significant expense as an orthopaedic bed. The third bedroom also has a fold down chair bed and the option of a high-quality airbed. This guest had asked us to make up all of these options for him, so that he could decide which he wanted for his party of 6. Our team were on hand to help him in making changes - removing beds not wanted once he had decided but, regrettably, did not get that chance. The spacious Lounge and dining area (where there were no beds), the kitchen and the bathrooms - one with a jacuzzi bath are not mentioned. As a London resident, I would, of course, disagree that this is not a normal London flat and we have taken considerable care to write a description which truly reflects the apartment (as described also in other reviews) and to post photos which serve the same purpose.
All that said, we have, of course, taken on board this guest's concerns both those expressed both whilst with us and those in this review and we will consider whether we can describe the apartment, which can accommodate 7 guests, more clearly or, indeed, improve on the photography to ensure that the expectations of all of our guests are the apartment we will provide. No responsible host would want a guest to be unhappy.

Proprietario / referente casa disponibile a qualsiasi dubbio e qualsiasi richiesta .Bellissimo appartamento spazioso e accogliente , vicino ai grandi magazzini Harrods e alla fermata della metro, la descrizione rispecchio la realta' .
Sicuramente sara' il nostro punto di appoggio per continuare a scoprire la meravigliosa Londra.

Sono lieto di sapere che Ivan e la sua famiglia hanno avuto una tale soggiorno piacevole a Londra e nel mio appartamento . Sono sempre molto felice di leggere che l'appartamento sembra proprio come le foto e descrizione . Questa è davvero un'ottima posizione. Non vediamo l' ora di accogliere Ivan e la sua famiglia di nuovo molto presto.
Appartement idéalement situé
Appartement très agréable, idéalement situé au cœur de Knigthsbridge, confortable et propre.
Petit bémol si vous occupez cet appartement à 7, seulement 5 chaises dans la salle à manger, et une cuisine absolument pas suffisante (petit frigo, manque de vaisselle ....)
Ron est très accueillant.
Je suis ravi de savoir que cet invité a tellement aimé son séjour avec nous et dans ce superbe position centrale .
Je apprécie vraiment les évaluations sur certains points à l'intérieur de l'appartement et nous allons certainement répondre à tous ceux qui sont réalisables - veiller à ce que il ya des couverts et de la vaisselle adéquate est déjà traitée.
