This attractive, detached traditional Cornish cottage is set in peaceful countryside with panoramic views across the Camel Estuary from all windows, with some exposed walls and flag stone hall, it makes an excellent holiday home. Family friendly kitchen/dining area leads onto the patio with built in barbecue, as do French doors from the sitting room, complete with a cosy woodburning stove. Outside extensive lawns overlook the estuary. Bring your bikes or walk along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge, a bird watchers paradise for migrant and estuary birds, or for fish and chips at Ric Stein’s in Padstow and a boat trip around the Puffin Island. This is a perfect location for visits to Tintagal, The Eden Project, tropical gardens and inland mining towns. Newquay is about 18 miles away. There are miles of sandy beaches popular with surfers and swimmers, and excellent golf courses north and south of the estuary. A supermarket and petrol station are only 1.25 miles away. Shop 1.25 miles, pub with food 0.75 miles.
