Simply stunning at any time of year, Exmoor is a landscape for all seasons. Look out for red deer roaming wild on the hills, or buzzards soaring in the sky. You will certainly see the typical small-horned sheep and the famous Exmoor ponies. There are many National Trust properties to visit, and sandy beaches can be reached within an hours drive. A journey on the Taunton steam train is a wonderful experience for all the family; hop off at various places and explore, then continue your journey along the beautiful coastline to Minehead. 18-hole golf course, 9 miles.
