Our party consisted of 3 couples who came from different parts of the country and we stayed for a long weekend. The house was super, very clean and well maintained and the 3 double en-suite rooms were exactly what we needed. Tara was lovely; helpful but unobtrusive - and even made a yummy cake for our arrival! The house layout was good and the well-equipped downstairs bedroom was perfect for our person with limited mobility. Every day, we all looked forward to our early evening relax in the hot tub! Cooking facilities were great and the hot tub was followed by our evening meal and an evening of board games, cards and chatting. Perfect!!
The RSPB site at Minsmere is well worth a visit. Aldeburgh is too. It's a quaint seaside town - even has a Joules and Fat Face to browse - as well as fishmongers in sheds selling fresh fish. We bought a selection of smoked fish and ate it with salad and bread. It made a very memorable, and relatively cheap, evening meal!
