Short walk to slopes from this spacious 4 level townhouse with all the comforts of home! Features great room with cozy wood burning stove, A/C, TV, DVD, VCR & games. Dining area has 2 large tables to accommodate group. Full kitchen & ½ bath are on the same floor. Outdoor deck overlooking mountain area includes gas grill & patio chairs. Many sleeping options for large groups (MAX of 10 adults or 12 in group if adults and children). Upstairs - loft bedroom with queen bed & full bathroom. Below the main level are 2 bedrooms (1st has 2 sets of bunks, 2nd room with queen bed, desk, TV), washer/dryer, & full bathroom also on this level. Lower level has slider door with access to parking lot & 2 rooms (1st has 2 queen beds behind french doors, 2nd w/ pull out couch). This area also has TV, DVD & Foosball table. SUMMER STUFF: CAMELBEACH WATER PARK! this water park is at the base of Camelback Mountain and it is fantastic! A 30 second drive down the mountain and you are there!

INDOOR WATER PARK - Family Waterpark is about 20 minutes from the townhouse in Lake Harmony, PA. This complete indoor water park features attractions for all ages. The water park IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Overnight accommodations are not required for use of the park.

Grew up in Ocean County and my first day of skiing was Camelback Mountain in the 7th grade (was hooked from day 1). Now reside in Bergen County. We use the townhouse a few times a year for skiing, snow tubing, waterpark, and family getaways.

Why Marc & Clara Fox chose Tannersville

Walking distance to the slopes, ski in & out room, views of the mountain, very private parking lot (only 2 other townhouses, where many others have a few dozen houses).

One of the only houses with a lower level ski in & out room. Most others you need to use the front door, and store your gear in the kitchen area or outside in the storage closet.

You can basically say - that we were extremely happy. The Landlord is very friendly and the house was really clean. Great location - walking distance to the slopes. Basically Its A ++++++++++,

Close to Slopes and Fun for the Family

Finally getting around to writing a review. Had a great stay in late spring. The late season snowfall allowed us to luck-out with the skiing. It is great being able to come off the slopes and walk back for lunch. Also went to the indoor water park a few minutes away which was a blast! House had everything we needed for a fun stay. Fit several families comfortably and no issues. Kids loved the fireplace and making s'mores! Need to book a next stay to try the outdoor water park.

Hi... it was wonderful trip. House was pretty good. It has everything for everyone😀(though we didn't get time to use most of appliances). Even my friend's family liked it very much. Moreover thnx for ur suggestions & ur on time replies Marc.. we will surely plan for another trip later😀

Perfect location, cozy home

We rented this property for this past 4th of July weekend. House was well furnished and had everything we needed during our stay. Marc, owner of the property was extremely helpful in providing all the details information about the place and the activities we could do in the area during our stay.

Never again

I hate to write a review like this but I have been left no choice.The owner advertised wifi which might be available at times because the service would be provided by his neighbor, unfortunately there is no neighbor due to ongoing repairs from a flood which he was well aware of. The BBQ was filthy and front burner clogged so I had to clean the burner and caked on food on the inside. The pans were not usable due to excessive ware. The top bunk beds were broken so we had to have two kids sleep on the floor. We would have been able to use the sleeper sofa but when we opened it up, we found food which is not a big deal. The problem is when we removed the mattress cover to clean it we found urine stains so the kids would not sleep there. All of this mentioned I could get past but when the hot water heater stopped working and I had to fix it so we didn't have to leave just got us all frustrated. I could have either made the owner get a plumber, handyman or whoever but my kids wanted to go to the parks and didn't want to leave, that's why I took it upon myself to fix the problem, luckily it was just a matter of resetting the switch. I had to read the manual and take off the cover to do so. The bottom line is I didn't have to do it! I could have left, disputed the payment with my credit card and filed complaints with various agencies. I asked the owner for compensation which I believe is deserved and he stated "my housekeeper doesn't think it's warranted". I find that to be so funny and distasteful. I sent another email to the owner to see if he would think about it again, no response. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card for restitution and HomeAway.

Owner's Response: Compensation is the key word here. It was mentioned on numerous calls and emails both during the stay and afterwards. Some people are just looking for something extra if they complain enough. When things don’t go their way, they resort to social media to vent and take a shot at a very well run business in an effort to damage them.......... We purchased our family vacation townhouse in 9/05. Joined Homeaway in 4/08. We visit a few times a year to enjoy the house, while also checking on things. I took time to research, and we’ve had 300+ guests rent our house along with numerous friends & family over the years. My best friend of 25+ years and his brother stayed at the home in March (with their wives and 4 small children) and they shared zero complaints or things that I needed to be aware of........... I’ll also point out the 85 reviews of 5 stars and 27 reviews of 4 stars. That’s 112 reviews vs 1 negative in 9 years with Homeaway............ During the stay, the guest called me approximately 10 times on various subjects. I offered to send in a handy man to fix any problems they were having (and that offer was declined via email). I offered to contact other owners in my complex to see if they had availability, so this guest could move within the complex without any major interruptions and again that offer was declined........... In response to my housekeeper, she’s not just a housekeeper. She is our trusted friend who has maintained our home for 12 years. She’s our eyes and ears before and after every rental. She lives 5 minutes away, and we are 90 minutes away. She is closer to a general manager for everything she does within my house and for others in the area. She probably has 40-50 houses that she supervises, flawlessly. So YES, she does get a vote and a say in who deserves compensation after checkout and who does not............ Below are 2 examples taken from emails sent from our guest........... May 30 – “Hey Marc, we made the best of this weekend considering some inconveniences. I am wondering what you would consider to be fair compensation.”........... June 5 – “Did you think about our conversation on compensation for my inconveniences during my stay at your place? I am disturbed by your response as to how the "house keeper" doesn't think there should be any compensation.”............ In conclusion, please read the first 112 reviews and call me with ANY questions or concerns!
