The perfect vacation spot. We have rented the house twice, once in the fall and once in the summer. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, with lots of room for big families. The kitchen is gorgeous. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. The views of Mount Mansfield from the living room are breath taking. My family loves to eat out and we had plenty of choices, from very casual to fine dining, within a five to ten minute drive. We enjoyed the Village at Mt. Stowe Resort in the summer, many activities for the kids and my parents to enjoy. The river walk is perfect for a run or a bike ride anytime of the day. I would recommend this rental to my friends and family, plenty to do anytime of the year. The owners were easy to deal with, and answered all of our questions and gave plenty of recommendations of the local attractions. Make sure you stop for fresh apple cider donuts at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill.
We had a wonderful experience and Cheryl was great to work with! The home is beautiful with incredible views of the mountain and very close to all Stowe has to offer. Cheryl was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Highly recommend for a wonderful Stowe weekend!
We had a great experience - the location was perfect for easily getting into town, onto the rec path, up to the mountain, and making stops in Waterbury. The house was super clean, the view was beautiful, and the hot tub was fun! Cheryl was really responsive and helpful. We'd love to stay here again!
My friends (4 adult couples total) had an amazing stay at Cheryl's house. We did a lot of cooking, relaxing and laughing in the house, and also ventured outside to go hiking and attend the Stowe Brewer's Festival. Each couple had their own room and bathroom which was a very nice plus. Cheryl was wonderful to work with and I hope we can come back for ski season in the winter!
The house is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable and the sheets were nice. Plenty of pots and pans, utensils, tableware, etc. It's close to everything - the mountain, the town, the walking path. Loved the fireplaces and the gorgeous view of the ski mountain!
Cheryl's house is amazing and so very comfy. The kitchen is huge and has 2 sinks, which is perfect for multitasking large meals for the large party of friends I had over the weekend.
The kitchen is stocked with some pantry essentials such as cooking spray and salt, lots of pans, giant pot for pasta or soup, and lots of baking dishes. I would suggest bringing your own oil and aluminum foil.
The living room is so spacious and comfy you'll sink right in the seats. The high ceiling makes the room more spacious. In front of the living room, there's a beautiful electrical fireplace that provides more than enough warmth for the room. One of the best things about this house is that all the light switches are labeled so it made navigating lights in the house such a breeze.
The downstairs had 3 beds, living room, and a ping pong table-a true entertainment center.
Overall the house was very clean and so very cozy and comfy, I would definitely recommend to groups or families.
Another convenience of this house is the close proximity of Stowe Mountain-only 7 min drive!
Cheryl is a great host, will answer all your questions in detail and is quick to answer as well. She is easily reachable through phone and answers in a timely fashion.
