For interesting days out visit the elegant spa town of Cheltenham, with its majestic shopping promenade, pump rooms, galleries and museums, or head for the historical cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester. Stratford-upon-Avon, one of England’s best known towns, makes a delightful day trip. The birthplace of Shakespeare, Stratford is full of interesting places to visit, including the Royal Shakespeare Company Gallery, the World of Shakespeare and the National Teddy Bear Museum, which will appeal to all ages.
