These wonderful holiday cottages, situated in the Peak District National Park, are hidden in the pretty village of Birchover. Originally a chapel dating back to 1853, these properties have been tastefully renovated throughout, whilst maintaining their character and charm. The upside-down designed properties have the open plan living rooms and kitchens upstairs, whilst downstairs, there are three bedrooms with two bathrooms in each property. Excellent walks are on your doorstep, including the Nine Ladies stone circle walk, and it lies within a few miles of the Tissington and High Peak walking/cycling trails, plus The Limestone Way. Just one mile away, is the pretty village of Winster, famous for its morris dancers, wakes festivities (every June) and annual Shrove Tuesday pancake race. The Old Chapel is perfect for guests seeking a village location within easy reach of some of Derbyshire’s most famous attractions. Don’t miss the spectacular Chatsworth House, and the market town of Bakewell, which is a ten-minute drive away, home to a fine selection of shops, cafés and pubs, along with the famous Bakewell Pudding. All in all, this is a delight holiday retreat any time of the year. The properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.
