We had a group of 12 women stay here for a 3 day weekend. We rented both levels. The place worked perfect for us. It was clean and well located. As a group we have been together for over 35 years and this worked perfect for all of us.

This was by far the best home on Catalina. We had 13 girls in town for a getaway and could not have had a better weekend. Angela, the owner, is so easy to work with and wants your stay to be perfect. She was just a text|email|or call away if there were any questions and she provides you with all the information you may need. The home is so well maintained and clean. We rented both the upstairs and the downstairs and had the perfect amount of room- and bathrooms (a huge necessity for all those girls). We spent most of our weekend in the upstairs so we could people watch out the wall of windows overlooking the street. We cooked at the house one night and went out the second- the kitchen was fully equip and perfect space for us all to relax and enjoy dinner together. There was never a moment where any of us stopped to thing- 'shoot, I wish the house had this...'. The home is in the perfect location- a block away from the main drag with all the restaurants, bars and shops and a short walk to the mountain. I would never stay anywhere else in Catalina after this experience! I can't recommend it enough. We will be back!
First of all, Angela, the owner of the home is an absolute joy to work with in the rental process. Could not have been more accommodating or cordial. Secondly, we thoroughly enjoyed the property, especially the location and the rooftop patio. We rented the upstairs and the downstairs and both were well stocked, clean, and open for all to enjoy. I would highly recommend the property and look forward to staying there again. Just don't think you could beat it all the way around compared to other properties. My family of 13 rented both the upper and lower units for a family gathering and a '80 Birthday' celebration. Everyone loved the location and found the duplex to be both cozy and comfortable. It was complete with all of the amenities that we needed for a long weekend stay. It is a perfect location only a couple of minutes walk to plenty of shops, local restaurants for all tastes and the Von's super market. Anyone interesting in participating in a local sightseeing of the island can walk within 2 minutes to the tour plaza. Also, The Catalina Island Conservancy for backcountry Jeep tours of the island is only 30 seconds walk away. It is really central to everything! The Golf Cart also added an extra bonus! It really made exploring around Avalon easy and exceptionally fun. We were able to transport luggage to and from the port hassle free. We can highly recommend this rental property. Lastly, the owner Angela was most helpful in answering any questions prior to our visit. So make your booking, pack your bags and get ready to enjoy Catalina with a feel of local hospitality.
My family rented both the upstairs and downstairs for my 30th birthday. Both units were very comfortable and clean. We had 6 adults and one child in the downstairs and 4 adults upstairs. The house is located just a short walk to shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We had so much fun we are making it an annual trip. Having access to the golf cart is really helpful from picking up people and luggage, to grocery shopping and exploring the town. Looking forward to next year!
