This comfortable and relaxing two bedroom, two bath condo with HIGH-SPEED WiFi INTERNET and cable TV is ideally situated just a half block from the beautiful gulf beaches and from the main entertainment center featuring some of the best dining on the island. Our recently remodeled ground floor condo has direct access to the heated pool and comes with a complete kitchen including granite counter tops, microwave, toaster and a blender for your tropical margaritas. The kitchen includes everything you'd expect for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher and good pots and pans. The unit has new tile floors and all furnishings are designed with comfort in mind. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, large closet, dresser & TV, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed & dresser with mirror as well a walk-in closet. There are 2 TVs, a DVD player, & 'boom-box' with a CD player. Secure wireless high-speed Internet is available in the condo, but we do not have a telephone.

All the comforts of home: This has been our home for 4-5 months of the year for the last 14 years. It is, therefore, kept up and is furnished to our liking. We make improvements each year when we are here. We have renovated the kitchen area and installed granite counter tops as well as opening up the area between the living room and kitchen. New tile floors through out have added to the comfort of the condo.

We also updated both bathrooms by adding new sinks and vanities and installing walk-in tile showers in both bathrooms.

We really love our condo, and hope you do too. Sorry, NO PETS and NO SMOKING IN THE CONDO!

Centrally located, ground floor: This relaxing ground floor condo is located 1/2 block from the beach and 1 block from the Entertainment District featuring popular nightlife, entertainment, and some of the best dining on the island. We are within easy walking distance of the grocery store, drug store, and bus stops for the Free Bus Service.

We provide 2 parking spaces--one under cover. This means you never have to find a parking spot to go to the beach. We are an easy walk to the beach and back to the condo for a snack, lunch or a dip in the heated pool.

We live in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin in the summer months and throughly enjoy our escape from the cold to our condo in the cold winter months. This is where we live for 4-5 months of the year and it is furnished for comfort. We love our condo and hope you enjoy all of the creature comforts it has.

Why Jackie Boyer chose Texas Gulf Coast

We really love the location of our condo. It is a short walk to the beach or to dinner if you don't feel like cooking. The grocery store and the drug store are both only 5 or 6 blocks away. The pool is right outside the back door and is heated when the weather is cool. It is the perfect size and has a complete kitchen with everything you need to cook a delicious dinner for your family or guests. We also love the fact that we do not have to haul our groceries or suitcases up a flight of stairs. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life.

What makes this condo unique

My perfect place to relax is either in the pool or sitting on the pool deck with a good book and a cool drink. What more could anyone ask? Of course, I do manage to get in a great walk on the beach before my swim and relaxation by the pool.

Very disappointed!

Overall I was very DISAPPOINTED with our stay at this condo! First of all if you have a large vehicle as we did (a truck) it is extremely difficult to park in the assigned spot if anyone is parked in the unassigned parking across from the site. The parking lot is just too cramped and the assigned parking is in a corner that makes it even worse to get into or out. When we first arrived we were concerned about the parking but fairly pleased with the accommodations then the second day of our stay everything changed. We have family nearby and after spending a day at the beach we invited them to the condo to eat all the food we had leftover from the bbq on the beach. Even before the last person left I received 2 calls, one from the local care taker and one from Jackie Boyer reprimanding us for breaking the terms of the lease and threatening to evict us with a total loss of our payment and security deposit. Our family was there no more than a couple of hours, no loud noise, no drinking and no smoking yet it was unacceptable according to them. The lease agreement states no more than 6 persons may occupy the condo-we were 4! Our family were guests they were not occupants staying at the condo. According to Jackie all our guests were considered occupants and we were only allowed to have 2 guests at any time. I have NEVER stayed in a rental that designated my guests as occupants and restricted how many visitors we could have! From my perspective the terms of rental are very ambiguous and should be clarified!! I read the contract but did not understand the terms as Jackie Boyer presented them to me over the phone yet at this time I was forced to abide to them or lose my full payment and deposit and be evicted!!! We are all retired, mature individuals and know the meaning of responsibility and feel very insulted in the way we were treated and for the first time in my life threatened to be evicted!! It was so stressful the rest of the time we were there telling our family they could not visit us as we could be evicted and feeling like we were constantly being monitored. I wish they would pay the same attention to other tenants like the lady that sat at the table by the pool right outside our back door every morning to SMOKE! The cigarette odor would seep into the condo and it was horrible. If you stay here make sure you fully understand the definition of all terms as you will be harassed if you don't!! I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Owner's Response: We do our best to provide a clean, comfortable, fully equipped condo in a quiet complex for all of our renter. In 15 years of renting this is the first time anyone has tried to entertain 15-20 people in our 2 bedroom condo. This is a small complex, only 14 units, and is not designed to handle large crowds. It is not uncommon in the summertime for multiple cars to try to park in the lot to go to the beach, thus leaving no parking available for people who belong there. Therefore, our on-sight manager watches for that. When you arrived back from the beach and 5 other cars pulled into the parking area he was alarmed and concerned and called me when he saw 15 to 20 people entered our condo. That is his job. The condominium rules specifically say occupancy is limited to 6 people. Yes, I understand the extra people were not staying the night but at the time we did not know that. If you had arrived with 2-4 extra people for dinner there would not have been a problem. I cannot imagine where 15 to 20 people could even stand up in the condo! The pool area is a shared area and open to all 14 condos. If your guests all stayed out by the pool, there was probably no room for anyone else to use the pool. As for someone smoking by the pool table, most owners do not allow smoking in their unit--we don't. If the doors and windows were closed as they should be when the A/C is running the smoke should not have bothered you. I'm sure you could have politely asked them to move further away from the door to the condo. Again, I cannot control where someone decides to smoke outside. I'm sorry you were disappointed in our parking area. Yes, it may be difficult parking large trucks in our undercover parking area. It was designed for cars, not large trucks. I'm sorry you found parking to be an issue.

Top notch vacation spot

My wife, brother, and sister-in-law stayed here for 4 days and loved it. It was in a super convenient location, just a very short walk from the beach, and Jackie provided info on all the best places to shop and eat. The condo was clean and had everything we needed in order to enjoy our stay. You cannot beat this for the price. Any hotel with as much included as you'll get here will cost you $200+ per night. Not to mention if you go with others, you'll have the privacy of your own room and bathroom! A++ all around and I will definitely be staying here again!

Great family getaway

So we got there later than originally planned but no worries the manager had the condo ready for us. Soon after arriving there we found an issue....the main bathroom toilet handle was broken. Nothing any handy man could fix. I called and left the manager a message. Since our was late we didn't expect it fixed that night but no worries we had the master bathroom. In the morning the kids woke up early to jump in the pool and the doorbell rings, a plummer. He left for parts andcame back, asked to be let back in. He fixed it in no time. When we got out of the pool to voice mails apologizing that she couldn't find a plumber quicker. Not knowing the issue had been fixed already.

Aside from that there was a bacteria in the beach water that irritated the skin. We quickly verified after jumping in for about 30 min. Luckily we were able to go back to the condo and jump in the pool, which the kids preferred anyway. Being on the ground floor was great for supervising the kids in the pool. Plenty of dishes and cleaning supplies. No need to bring anything but food, swimsuits, towels, and of course PS4/electronics. The free WiFi was great for the kids to stay busy while the sun was too hot for them to be out in the pool. The second bedroom didn't have a TV. Which I didn't mind so much, the kids only went to the bedroom to sleep. Great family time all weekend.

Overall the wife wants to go back already. The kids loved the pool and it was reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back too.

Our stay was great!

The property was well maintained and very clean. The closets are big and we were able to store all luggage and have ample space. We did find a few dead roaches every morning. But that is a good indication that they are spraying. And with all the palm trees there is no avoiding those pests. My only complaint

Is that it said it accommodates 6. We were expect pull out sofa but it was not. We have four boys 8 and under and were able to squeeze them on the king bed and my husband and I on the full bed. But I would say this accommodates 4. 5 the most. Otherwise a fabulous stay.

Perfect rental for small familes

This condo is perfect for small families who wants to spend some time on S. Padre Island. It's clean, well equipped, and close to the beach. The beach is a five minute walk. The pool is very nice too. This place has everything someone could want for a stay on S. Padre. I highly recommend this condo for 4 people wanting to stay a few days or a few weeks.

Mr. Mike and Mrs. Jackie were very nice. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo was very nice, quite and relaxing. The pool was heated. It was a good experience and we will return.

This comfortable ground floor condo is perfect for just about anything you plan to do on the Island. We are just a short walk to the beach. The heated pool is right outside the door. Restaurants, shops and entertainment are all within walking distance and the free bus stops are 1/2 block away. We are located approximate 1.2 miles north of the bridge.

We have lived here for several months each year for the past 14 years. Although we recently moved next door we have continued to keep this condo in completely furnished with everything we need and want to live comfortably.
