In a central and commanding position sitting above the beautiful Fowey estuary, this traditional end-terraced coastal holiday cottage has a garden and terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets, al fresco dining, or simply laze away the day watching the boats glide past. Most rooms boast lovely views over the Estuary. The town centre with its picturesque waterside and meandering lanes with craft and gift shops, galleries, quaint cafés and outstanding restaurants is just a short stroll away. The historic seafaring town is famous, and home to the writer Daphne Du Maurier, and the annual Fowey Royal Regatta. The area is fantastic for walking groups and watersports enthusiasts with sailing, sea fishing, kayaking and boat trips up the river which can be booked on the quay. Enjoy coastal walks and boat trips where you can spot dolphins and seals, or ferry across the bay to Mevagissey where you can visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Along the Esplanade, Readymoney Cove is a short stroll away, it is a perfect spot to explore the rock pools, go crabbing or simply lie on the beach. Many National Trust gardens and houses are in the area, one of which is Lanhydrock House, which has stunning gardens and a new purpose built cycling centre. The Eden Project is a 15 minute drive away. Cycling, surfing and golf nearby. Beach 250 yards. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
