Whatever you choose to do, it is all here. Make your dream a reality and live like royalty.
You have found it! Look no more. This is our Florida Keys Favorite! I don't ever care to stay in any other home. We loved yours so much!! Thank You!! Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time our family had there. Everything was truly a perfect experience, from reservation to departure. Debra was so wonderful to work with. Thank you, Debra, for the fresh flowers and the key lime pie upon arrival. That special touch meant alot to our family. It was so nice to finally meet you.
This location is a perfect distance to Key West. It is just close enough to Key West, but without all the congestion. Also, the home is secluded enough not to hear so much road noise from Highway 1.
Also, It was such a blessing to be able to take our furry family with us. That really made our vacation complete. This was one of the biggest reason that we initially chose your home over the others. It was so nice to find a place that was so pet friendly and just like home. Thank You for allowing us to bring them!
This was one of the cleanest and best place that we have ever stayed in. Your place was just spotless, and I was so impressed. The stocked kitchen was super, and the dining room table is an amazing piece of art. Beautiful! The bedrooms were all comfortable. Thanks for having queen/king beds in the guest rooms. Our most favorite spots were the pool and the dock. The pool and hot tub were awesome. We also appreciate the use of your kayaks. We took daily adventures in the mangroves to see what treasures we may find.
If you don't bring your own boat, we would definitely recommend renting a boat. We used Cudjoe Key Boat Rental just several streets up. Dillon and Shelby were super people to deal with. This bay is absolutely stunning and looks totally different from the water's view looking back towards the house, than from the house looking out over the water. Also, Thank you for having an ice maker for us to use. It was perfect for our daily boat rides and fishing trips.
We truly can't say enough about your place, how it is kept, and what you offer to your guest. It was the perfect spot for our family. We loved your home and can't wait for a return trip. My deepest appreciation to the owners for sharing this with us!!
You never know how these vacation homes will truly turn out , you know, the picture always looks better than the real thing. Well, not in this case. The home is very spacious, there were 9 of us, clean and well laid out. The back patio by the pool was perfect for early morning coffee and if you wanted out of the sun during the day. If you enjoy relaxing, kayaking (supplied), the quietness and just being.....this is a great spot. The view of the water was gorgeous, the wild life was there with being greeted by iguanas (but then they ran off) and all the foliage for privacy. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back for round two! My advice is to rent a boat though so you can enjoy the water and around some of the small islands and snorkeling!
In August 2013, we had our second visit to Casa Aqua, and we enjoyed it even more than last time! There have been some great additions that made our stay more comfortable! This time we brought a boat with us, and it was great to moor it on the dock. One of the greatest benefits of the property is that it is set way off the road, which is quite unusual in the Keys - since many properties are on the main highway, so they have significant traffic noise. Not so with Casa Aqua - there are many acres of vegetation which make the whole property very private! The property manager, Debra, was very accessible and went to great lengths to make sure we were happy and having a good time! We look forward to our next visit to Casa Aqua!
Initial impression poor, scruffy entrance, pool dirty, dead leaves outside.House spacious but claustrophobic, beds do not face sea.mangrove and trees very close to house and take away light.Bedroom set up strange, one only accessible by elevator.Kitchen functional.plenty of storage, bathrooms good.Central AC very noisy, especially at night.Pool area not very spacious, too many tables and breezes cut off by all the trees around, view quite restricted when could be magnificent.Had rained week before our arrival and many mosquitoes, took sprayers 4 days to arrive and could not be outside after 630 pm or eaten alive. Some no see ums but mainly mossies.
Beach a joke, too hot as no breeze, enormous dock where best breeze, plenty of boat spacxe.
Overall a disappointing holiday as place not as expansive and usable as we wanted.
Casa Aqua and House Manager,Debra Farrell, were great! I have never rented a house before so I was a bit concerned if it would be as nice as the pictures. The house was better than expected. Just a well maintained, beautiful property. We had Thanksgiving, birthday and a bit of a family reunion here and it was perfect. With the house and cottage we had enough room so everyone was comfortable and had their own place for privacy. The drive to Key West was only about 20 mins. With bbq'ing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, a pool table and foosball table, workout room, and tv's in most rooms, there was plenty to keep everyone happy. And there was plenty of room for the kids to run around without worry. My family will remember this as a great trip for a long time to come.
Casa Aqua was the perfect location for our week long annual team retreat. Having experienced different locations over the last 12 years in the Florida Keys, this was unquestionably the best one! The first benefit is that being on 16 acres and set well away from the highway, there was no traffic noise - which, if you know the Keys, can be rare. The home is beautiful and the grounds are great. The landscaping is diversified and thoughtful, and we spent many hours enjoying the pool and hot tub as well as hanging out on the dock and spending time on the kayaks that were provided. We cooked a lot, and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Last but not least, working with Debra Farrell, who manages the property was a pleasure. She loves the house herself and she not only was helpful, but went out of her way to be accommodating! And her husband was great too! If we decide to return to the Keys for one our next retreats, this would be our first choice!
