Vacation Rental Between Orleans &Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Ma.
This could not of been in a better location for us. Very quiet neighborhood and so close to the National Seashore and great restaurants. Owner, David, is the best.to deal with. Pet friendly was what was most important to us and he very pet friendly! We were very grateful for that. The only complaint we had was the bed was extremely uncomfortable and by the end of the week our backs were sore. Other than that we had a great time and loved our time here.
This was a nice little cottage. Simple, clean, in a great location near beaches! I would definitely rent again! David, the owner, was very pleasant, and easy to get hold of. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!
We loved this cottage. Cozy yet enough room for 4 people comfortably. Air Conditioner is a huge plus! A beautiful front bay window is lovely. The road is safe and so close to the bike trails and beaches. Pet-friendly was a must for us and our dog settled in within 5 minutes. Big back yard. Charming and comfortable home. We will be going back to this home.
We've stayed at David's super-cozy family home for two years now and are ever-eager to come back, hopefully for another quickie before the end of this season because it's the perfect thing for what ails you. Status-seekers will find the accommodations "basic" but David's little house has everything me, my mother, and our dog need (and nothing we don't). Set back in a quiet, shady area a few steps from the Rail Trail, it's walkable to two beaches and the Eastham Public Library / General Store area (next to the Windmill where they have concerts. Very bikeable or driveable to everything -- including the turnabout so you're never trapped behind gobs of other cars. No matter where you go on the Cape, the throngs are there too. Here you can just veg out, cook your own food, and do your own laundry. David is a sane guy about everything except the Red Sox; if you need anything, you have only to ask. Renters follow one right after another during the busy season, so if the folks before you forgot to sweep or change the beds, you can do it in ten minutes. Low-maintenance people will really apprecate this oasis of woodsy privacy so close to the sand and surf!
We were pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable our visit to Eastham was.The cottage is perfect for our needs (clean, quiet, away from the hustle bustle but quick access to that when we needed it).
Nearby 1st Encoun Beach & Coast Guard Beech are very close and we loved riding our bikes along the nearby bike trail throgh beautiful wooded areas and marshes and lovely ponds. Hilary & Jake
We went to Eastham, instead of our usual weeklong cruise -- what a delightful change! It was so nice to walkout of the door of this delightful cottage into a nice private and quiet tree-lined yard. And yes, the stars do twinkle just as brightly there as any ocean cruise we've been on. The beaches were fantastic and much more fun than cement swimming pools. We'll be back. Stacy, Robert, Jesse from Belmont.
